Addis Cutlery Drainer In Soft Black 571711

I've now got the full range of the Addis kitchen stuff in Roasted Red... our existing kitchenware was getting a bit tired, and I just couldn't face the usual white/grey/cream/black available from all of the local stores. The photos are a true rendition of the actual colour, and it has immediately lifted the kitchen. All are made from high quality, glossy plastic, and I expect them to last well. Hubby was complaining during the week that it was too deep for teaspoons, as they kind of get sucked into the depths... until I pointer out the the central compartment has been designed with this in mind and is half depth! The whole central core also removes, so it's very easy to clean. Or you can simply get a second, as I did, remove the central divider and use it for larger kitchen cutlery (large knives, cooking spoons, etc.) Brilliant colour, quality and design.

This drainer is on the large side compared to other products, but it is sturdy and easy to clean. Yes, the inner dividers and centre cup come out, but it means that cleaning the interior is easier than it would be if it was a fixed divider. I live in a hard water area, so I need to descale and de-gunk things like this regularly. Even though it is large, the centre cup is perfectly sized to hold scrubbers and sponges, so this eliminates the need for a separate spot for them. The whole thing is rather sturdy compared to some of the cheap things you might pick up at the market, so I expect this will last for years.

In general a good cutlery drainer with 5 segments [the centre one being shallower than the others] - The segmentation is achieved by a removable insert - This has advantages but also a disadvantage in that it is not the full height of the outer shell so that cutlery that is wider than the handle at the opposite end [for example forks] can dislodge the insert when extracting the cutlery - However, despite this, still the best cutlery drainer I have found so far

My kitchen has cream cupboards and drawer fronts and all my small appliances and accessories are red so this is perfect and was bought to replace an old cutlery drainer that had seen better days. Delivery was great - 2 weeks earlier than I was told.

Perfect. It sits on our new white ceramic sink and holds everything we need it to. It drains well and is relatively stable even with our long-handled dish brush which we put in the centre section. Previously we had a stainless steel wire cutlery drainer which allowed items to poke through all over the place [not good with sharp points on ceramics] and it was forever falling over. Happiness is an Addis plastic cutlery drainer - if only everything in life could be so simple to please my good lady.

I bought this based on previous customer reviews, but what I wished I had known was how the inner divider slots into the main body of the drainer. It locates with two VERY SMALL notches on two oposite ends, but as it does not have notches on the other two (at righ angles to the notches it has), when you place larger items such as wooden spoons into the drainer, the inner basically collapses. This cause all the cutlery to end up in a pile. You might as well just have a square drainer with no inner divider. It drives me up the wall, and if I had known this I would not have purchased it, especially as I think it is a premium price for what it is.

I like the size of the drainer, my problem with it is the partition middle part keeps falling in, the groves to keep it up are not sufficient. But it is works if you are careful putting in the cutlery.

Article de bonne qualité. Grace à son rebord, on peut le suspendre à des crochets (sur des ventouses à crochets, il tient très bien) ; comme cela, les couverts s'égouttent parfaitement. La partie centrale est moins haute, ce qui permet d'y mettre les petites cuillères ; de plus, elle est amovible . La couleur correspond à la photo. Je suis satisfaite de cet achat.

Es de buen material pero, muy pequeño, ya se que pone las medidas pero casi nadie lo comprobamos, ademas es caro, cuando intente quitarle la etiqueta que llevaba pegada, no podía al final quedo todo rayado.

Attenzione perché non c'è un fondo, una vaschetta di raccolta dell'acqua. Va quindi messo sul gocciolatoio. Purtroppo però l'acqua ristagna e bisogna ogni tanto sollevarlo e ripulire. Bastava fargli dei piedini per sollevare di 1-2 cm la struttura in modo che l'acqua potesse defluire.
