This Collins Easy Learning Spelling Ages 5–7 book is a really good resource for helping young children practise spelling at home. The activities are simple, colourful and engaging, which makes it much easier to keep children interested rather than feeling like they’re doing “extra school work”. The exercises follow the Key Stage 1 curriculum, covering things like common spelling patterns, word endings, vowel sounds and simple prefixes and suffixes, so it lines up well with what children are learning in Year 1 and Year 2. � Bookhype Each page has short activities that only take a few minutes, which is ideal for doing a little bit of practice regularly without overwhelming a child. The layout is clear and there are answers included, so it’s easy for parents to check work and help if needed.
