Lincolnshire Pond Plants Ltd Chalene Straw Water Lily - Pond Plants - Water Lilies - Aquatic Plants (Large, Chalene Straw - Loose Root)

Received lily very quickly. A nice healthy looking plant. Had it a couple of days because I ordered the soil and pond planter after I ordered the lily. Wrong way round!. But plant was still fresh looking although I did put it in the shade, because of the very hot weather we were having at the time. But still look good. It is now in the pond and some leaves are on the surface so hopefully next year will have a lily or two.

This plant came with 2 tiny leaves. Potted and fed in pond basket with small stones on to keep compost in pot this in my work in garden centre and having ponds if my own it standard practice. Anyway it has not thrived but the seller has come up with ridiculous reasons why it has died and deny all responsibility. I believe I can post it to them and pay for delivery. I think not your naff plant you do it for free. Go and buy a lily you can actually see not one of theirs

This was the second plant I bought from this supplier. The first was a great success so ordered a second. This one was smaller than the first with leaves damaged. Planted as per instructions and in the same way as the successful one, but after two weeks the existing leaves trying to get to the surface, started to rot. Taking the plant out of the water, I could see the plant had rotted away to almost nothing. Sent three photos of the first plant and the failed one to the retailer so they could judge the problem. They emailed to say go via Amazon. I found the return instructions too difficult and very inconvenient even if I could have understood them. The retailer said to return the item to them. How you would return a small rotted plant I do not understand. Next time will be using a local retailer.

The ordered water lilies arrived in France in very good condition ,I planted them using baskets and compost also well laden with heavy stones and with the sunshine etc. they are all growing well and seem to almost double in size each day so very happy as are the Koi I have in the pond.

poor performance

Order came very quickly, as did the previous 3 water Lillys, all of which died. Had the pond water tested all OK and Fish happy. I got some professional advice, the only thing they suggested was that there was not enough sunlight, therefore I've cut back some of the overhanging trees and plants. I am not to be defeated even though so far I've spent over £50.00 on these plants, I'll see if the latest Lilly survives.!!
