I recommend trying different brands to see what feels right for you. Ernie ball strings have always been an extremely high quality product. Strings are far more durable than other brands that I have used. It’s important to note that they are a different feel and tension when compared to the lighter gauge. String bending etc will require more strength but your hands do adapt. Ernie ball strings are fantastic quality and value for money.

This is a product that is just faultless and has been for decades. Their manufacturing process is excellent producing a consistent sound. I have used these strings since the 80`s and never a issue. Purchasing the 3 pack reduces the price so its a win win tune here.

Im no expert, I like these to play, the tone on my Strat (9's) and Tele (10's) is good, they feel nice, but; I buy in packs of 3, this last pack, two sets after maybe a year or so (sealed in plastic envelope) were already rusty. Good price, but not great with rusty strings straight out of the packet. Could not they be dry sealed in their packets? Like potato. crisps? If this happens again ill be changing brand.
