QiYi *WUQUE* - 4X4 Professional & Competition Speed Cube Magic Cube Brain Game 3D Puzzle - STICKERLESS

This is my first 4x4 cube. I have not tried any other 4x4 cubes, but I have used several 3x3s. What would five stars mean? I think it would imply that the cube never disappointed me. The cube on arrival was of course daunting, but I quickly got used to moving it around and solved it a couple of times using tutorials from youtube. I then wanted to improve the feel of the cube. This one is advertised in particular as supporting speed in the final 3x3 solve stage. I can see that - the outer faces move more easily. However, that means you do have uneven tension control across the cube. As I learned to control the cube, I wanted more freedom for the inner planes without flop in the outside. I still haven't got it quite as I would prefer. But, it is enjoyable to use. I owe it to the vendor and fellow novices to come back and rethink my review when I've tried other 4x4 cubes and spent more time adjusting and lubing this one. TL;DR my first 4x4 that I had no physical problem solving, but I want more.
