20 Litre Plastic Water Container Food Grade

These are strong, well designed and well made containers which are stackable on top of each other. The cap has good seal and a serated locking ring which can easily be removed with snips if not wanted. The container is stamped PE HD, meaning it is high density polyethylene, has a UN symbol denoting conformance with United Nations standards. I couldn't find a glass and fork symbol denoting food grade but it the same material as the the smaller 10 litre container which does.. The handle is strong and comfortable, It is worth noting that 20 litres has a mass of 20 kilogrammes (44 lbs weight) and it is heavy when filled. It might be more convenient to buy two 10 litres in place of one 20 litre container.Recommended.

Its sturdy enough and large enough to keep in the garage/shed. Not suitable for solvents but perfect for water.

I purchase reverse osmosis water from a tropical fish shop to use in my steamer but had only got a 5 litre container so when I saw this on Amazon I ordered it and it arrived in only a few days. This container is safe for food grade so it was just what I needed. It's well made with a secure top and comfortable carrying handle. And not expensive.

I am a homebrew beer maker and bought this water container to use in the "no chill method". When new the lid has a plastic ring much like some milk cartons (and Coopers PET bottles) that snaps off when the lid is opened. Upon delivery I washed out the container to clear any bits that may have been left over from manufacturing. Once washed, I sanitised it then during a brew day I used it to keep hot wort until the next day when the wort had cooled down. The plastic is pretty thick so the container does not flex with hot wort inside. Had no problems with mine and have used it a couple of times during brewing, I am going to get a smaller version to hold mixed sanitiser as they are really good.

Recieved a white container,Different from Description picture?,Its Not the Same Container?.Not very Reassuring,especially ordered with intended purpose of carrying Fresh drinking water.No Black sticker on side,and different Construction,when comparing Photographs??for £7odd i will keep,Its the principle of True Description,is What im bothered about.
