This is, by far, the best backpack that I've ever had. I love the fact that is: - Tough and hardy - specially since I use it for work and my computer is safe. - It's built strong and it looks strong too! - Has enough storage room for laptop, cooling desk, mouse, miniature keyboard and charging equipment. And the bag doesn't weigh that much so in total this isn't that bad. - The straps are super manageable. Able to tighten and loosen quickly for removal and transportation... very important for me. The padding is great and makes the backpack, as a whole, very comfortable and it feels like part of your back, instead of hanging off it. - The pattern is stylish and makes it look cool to wear a backpack even to the office. I definitely recommend it to all those looking for a great product to keep your laptop and your stuff safe and handy!

This is my second Wenger/swissgear bag. I bought one last xmas for my smaller 15" laptop and its been my work bag with a laptop in it every day since. Showing no signs of wear, this would most definately be down the excellent build quality of these bags. Yes they are a little more expensive than some others, but ultimately you get what you pay for. So on purchasing a newer 17" laptop more recently, there was only going to be one bag I looked for, and it would be this one right here. Amazon prime membership saw it delivered on a sunday, day after I ordered it (thanks amazon). Basic looking package when arrives but dont let that fool you. Takes my 17" laptop snuggly and room for all my other office type stuff, as well as my bluetooth speaker, charging cables, Ipad, phone, wallet, lunch etc. The shoulder straps are very well designed to allow a bit of give when you pick the bag up (simple but clever design) kind of like a spring. The top handle is strong and robust (and you can see a high tensile poly coated cable running inside this). Its also designed to be large enough to fit over suitcase/luggage handles for those longer trips away. So to sum up, great bag, fantastic build quality with fair protection for your shiny stuff. If you are looking for something strong and robust but is not a hard case/bag then this is for you. Better than a rucksack, easier than a hard laptop back to use for the busy professional.

I was searching for a backpack that could carry a 16+ inch laptop, accessories, some notepads and of course my food. The Pegasus filled the spot. Its a great backpack, with quality that its going to last and offers plenty of space. I also used it in a trekking session (~4 hours) and I found it to be pretty comfortable. Pros - Very Well build - Great Protection Padding - Good straps that don't overwhelm the wearer. - "Quiet" colors, thus you can use it at work. Cons - Its a Little Heavier than you expect (all this padding comes at a price) - Might be an overkill for everyday use if the ONLY thing that you need to carry its an 16-17 inch laptop - The Fast Access Pocket at the top of the bag has a small zipper, not the standard heavy duty that its being used at the rest of the openings. P.S: The delivery was extra fast even with the standard free saver delivery option. Once more great service from Amazon

Bought this bag in 2011, 15 years ago and its been everywhere around the world with me. Its still as strong and robust as the first day I used it. Possibly the best bit of gear I've ever owned. Well worth the money.

I have now had this bag for 33 (thirty three) months and thought it's now time to write a review on it. I was initially sceptical based on previous experience but after much dilly-dally decided to take the plunge. Am I glad I did? Read on. Aesthetics and Ergonomy: Looks fantastic. Nice colour combinations. Beatiful zip type/pattern. Nice shoulder and back pad rests. No form of pain during use nor after. Reliability: 100%. Never let me down. Always does what I plan it to do (well I'm not saying bag a car in it). It always manages to contain reasonable extent of 'load' and still remain easy to use. Durability: I have not had any form of tear, significant wear, irremovable stain or other things of the likes. It still feels like new. Not the slightest thread loss visible. In fact there is no sign of it beginning to wear soon. Looks like it's going to last forever. And it still looks new even with active use. Functionality: Does what it says on the tin. Comfortably houses anything up to 17inches laptop (probably well over). Lots of space for charger, phones, water bottles, stationary, books and even clothes all at the same time. While in use, when put on the back, even with lots of content, the weight is so evenly distributed that you almost don't feel it. Cost: At £49.99 (my cost), it's well worth it. Even at the current price of £56.99, it's still worth having. Conclusion: I can't fault this product in any way. If I could turn back the hands of time, I would buy this bag again and over again. It's worth it's cost in every way and I would recommend it to anyone 100%. Chiny.

I bought this laptop for work purposes and to replace the old tatty work laptop bag which had decided to break on me. My laptop for work is a 15" and i also have a 17" personal laptop, so i went for the 17" bag to accomodate both laptops when required. The 15" sits in the bag and of course there is more space but the protection around the laptop is top notch, it would protect the laptop of any knocks and even a drop from height. Padding on the bottom of the bag is good and a decent strap to hold the laptop in place. The 17" fits very snugly and having the bigger laptop in the bag does not reduce the overall space available in the bag. The bag is large enough to fit laptop, cables, mouse, paperwork, phones, pens and a whole host of other items. The straps for carrying are strong and padded well for long distance carrying, such as bike rides etc, and the top carrying handle is strong and sturdy with another handle just to the side, both can be used together to offer even stronger support. The bag also looks weather proof (to a point) so no worries if there is a shower or downpour of your laptop being damaged.
