If you need some items that need gentle care when washing then save your money trying to find and use specialist products, this is pure soap flakes that will be gentle in the washing machine or washing by hand. Cashmere, merino wool, silk ect have been washed in this and all are as perfect as when bought new. Great for baby clothes or delicate skin conditions, a light and gentle clean scent.

I have used soap flakes for a number of years now to help clean medical equipment and as such have found it to be highly effective. Recently it has become increasingly difficult to source this product in its original form - liquid soap flakes now seems the norm. This liquid form of the product is, in my opinion, not as good as the original and so I was quite pleased to be able to order this product in its original form. I paid £6.99 (including free postage) for the product in February and I now note that the price has been reduced to £5.49: a welcome step and one which makes it more likely that I will make further purchases of this product from this seller in the future.

Ordered one pack then found out its cheaper to buy the three pack. 3 for the pice of two. Be aware the seller responds very slowly should you try and contact them, at least they were in my case. The product is good, exactly as we wanted. Now have enough to last us for years.

Have been buying for some years on repeat. Very good product for sensitive people. Babies too I would think rather than bio products. But ive not used for a child.

Years ago I bought a very expensive leather suit and the man in Barker n Stonehouse told me not to buy a leather care kit but to wash the sofa down with soap flakes ! I’ve been doing that ever since and it never fades, cracks etc etc like friends leathers have . I recently bought a vintage leather sofa and so got these soap flakes to give that a good scrub. It came up ace. I melted them in hot water first then added cooler water . Delighted with results so washed my silk blouses and cashmere jumpers by hand with these rather than the usual well known hand washing liquid . I was very pleased. I have also used them to stop the door squeaking ! Very happy.

I'd very happily buy again. A bit odd to have to rate the 'scent' though for a product that is used because it has no scent...

Having used this year's ago we wanted some for handwashing a pair of expensive, satin sports shorts. They worked beautifully with a good and easy hand-wash. The only issue was the price. My wife ordered this item and didnt check the amount that was supplied. We were horrified with the size of the pack. Please check and make sure you know how much you're getting.

This was a very welcome find because soapflakes are almost impossible to find nowadays. I use PSF for washing the microfibre dusters which I use for washing and drying my cars. I find PSF is very economical and produces a very clean and soft result. I recommend this strongly.
