I could hardly ever get it to work & when it did I didn’t know how I did it & couldn’t replicate it a second time. I’d followed the instructions, tried it with different force link figures. My son lost interest quite quickly. Then I saw someone demonstrating it online & they put the figures directly on blue part that moves whilst tapping (quite firmly) the part with the batteries in. It works better that way.
