I bought this because my uncle had one when I was young - Mom says I called it a “weedo” - I think that’s toddler-babble for “weirdo. I saw in the corner of a pic of Facebook and Googled the pic and now I own one. Uncle G had one beside his bed to pull his boots off before going to bed, so I put it in my closet where my boots live. It was gone the next day and I ran across it in the mud room where my wife winters plants. She’s using it as a decorative object. It’s functional, heavier than it looks and was worth what I paid for it just for the nostalgia that made me a little dizzy when I unwrapped it

This was for my grandson who wears boots year round. He used the one I have and looks for it whenever he comes over just to use. Not sure mom is impressed that it’s a big bug bu this bug is at least useful!

This very cool and functional beetle removes shoes and boots simply and safely. I've injured myself with severe calf and achilles injuries while pulling off my shoes in the past but this cute guy solves my problem.
