UnikaSolid Wood Worktop Oil

Very good product, when we had a new kitchen, we needed to seal the wooden worktops. Used Unika, it was very straight forward to apply. I thought it was a little expensive for the size of tin.A year later I used another (cheaper) product to top up the Unika coat.Big mistake, it just didn't work, the cheaper oil just sat on the surface and would not soak in.So back to Unika, quick, light sand down and apply, Hey Presto! Although the tin is small, it goes a long way. I can get three coats out of one tin. Recommended.

After reading multiple reviews about multiple products I decided to plump for this product. I have used this on my new oak worktops in my kitchen extension. I wanted to make sure I got it right and was nervous at first but it has left the worktops looking really good with a nice colouring to them. I applied it with a lint cloth initially and then with a brush - it went on well using both methods. Only time will tell how durable it will be but we have had no problems so far. We have quite a lot of worktops and one tin did two/three applications - good value for money.

I first used this when it was supplied in a worktop kit from Wren Kitchens... Did the tops for a friend of mine and was impressed. Pricey... But hard wearing and the finish is nicer than Danish oil... Quicker to dry also.

My kitchen worktops are solid oak and need to be looked after. This product seems ideal although care need to be taken during the application process. This is not difficult, but the correct process does need to be followed.

As you can see there was a water mark before in my bathroom and the water was damaging my counter tops. I found this item easy to use and I'm no handy man. I'm just a lady that wants to protect her bathroom countertop. Very very absorbant and quick drying, nice and glossy but not too much shine. Love it. I gave it only 2 coats and that's perfect. Follow the instructions on tin. Will buy again and recommend. Does exactly what it says. Small container for the price but for a small area like a bathroom it will definitely last a long time. It's money we'll spent. Now I feel my counter top is protected for a really long time 👍🏽
