can I copy and paste text from one computer to another?

There is an app called Synergy (from Symless) that connects computers so that you can use one mouse/keyboard on both computers. That program allows a copy&paste between computers. This product is best for moving a lot of files from one computer to another. It's a drag and drop and moves things remarkably fast. It's been very useful and the cost is worth it. Depending on your needs, I recommend them both.

Will this work well to transfer large picture files?

Yes - I used it to move 1600 photos from my old PC to my new laptop. Works great!

Can this transfer from Windows 10 to a Windows 11 pc?

Not 100% sure but I believe Windows computers are usually backwards compatible. I am running a program that I got 10 years ago on my Windows 10! computer.
