😞 Disappointed, the screen is easy 2 install, it is great far as typing messages, and very peek proof, but unfortunately the fingerprint reader does NOT work. I gave it 1 star because the description said it could read fingerprints, (lie) just be honest about your product.

Fingerprint recognition works fine, you just need to re-set it in your security after the screen protector is installed.This is the first protector I've gotten that went on perfectly first try and the privacy angle isn't the greatest but it's perfect for me.Haven't had it very long so I'll update my review depending on its durability in a few weeks

I always have privacy screen protectors on my phone. Recently upgraded from a Note 9 to a Note 20 Ultra 5G. I purchased this privacy screen protector because it indicated supports fingerprint unlock unlike others I've seen during my Amazon search. However, now that I've installed it on my phone, the fingerprint reader does not work which is very disappointing. I set up fingerprints before putting the protector on and it worked fine. I tried adding new fingerprints with protector on but it won't register at all. I wish the fingerprint reader was on the back of the phone, similar to the Note 9, instead of on the screen. If it was on the back, having the screen protector on wouldn't be an issue. Not sure if I should return this and try another one because I actually like the privacy of the screen protector. It makes a difference compared to not having one.UPDATE : I found another screen protector but it's TPU film vs tempered glass. When I tried to remove this glass one from my phone, it cracked very easily. Now I can't return it.

This advertised that fingerprint recognition was possible and I have to say IT WORKS! I pressed on the circle area before going over the rest of the screen during installation because I saw someone do it on an installation video. After installing I registered a THIRD fingerprint with the screen protector already installed. Give it some time while the screen settles. Wont work right away and it does NOT work perfectly but if my finger touches in a specific way it registers it. It's not a hastle for ME so I'm ok with the four stars even if there's better privacy angles. There's definitely privacy though! Its worth it.Update: disregard. The finger print doesn't work.

First it's not dark people must still see from the side, Second the fingerprint doesn't work nor can you add a new fingerprint, Super thing feels like plastic not tempered glass.

I liked that it was super easy to install. Privacy is only good from the sides upright. If you turn it sideways it gives no privacy. Dropped my phone and glass popped right off. good thing it came with to. when it popped off it got full of carpet fibers to sticky side.

I have to say, that this screen protector is the best!!! I've been purchasing SOOOOO many screen protectors from Amazon that were worthless. I applied the screen protector so fast & with ease. The GREATEST BENEFIT is the ability to use the fingerprint sensor & the privacy that the screen protector gives. I recommend this screen protector hands down!!!
