Product works as intended, very happy.

Video works great but IR is not working. Blaster and receiver plugged in properly but still no control with remote control.

This is a simple way to run HDMI through the house. I haven't had any issues with lag or problems with the remote which is great seeing as I am obviously off the grid. The HDMI extender and splitter allows me to send a 4K signal from my media player in the living room to two TVs in different parts of the house. It uses one transmitter and two receivers, all built in solid metal cases that feel durable. It includes everything I need inside, including the power adapter, IR blasters, mounting brackets, and connectors for audio and RS232 if I ever want to use them. Ethernet cables are not provided. I connected my media player to the HDMI input on the back of the transmitter. Then I ran Cat7 cables from the transmitter to each receiver, which are placed near the remote TVs. I used high-quality cables because the instructions mention that signal integrity matters over long distances. I use shielded CAT6 or CAT7 cables to maintain a stable 4K@60Hz signal and avoid degradation or video artifacts, especially near the 400-foot maximum distance. The receivers connect directly to the TVs with standard HDMI cables. I plugged the power adapter into the transmitter, and as soon as it powered on, the LEDs lit up one by one. I could see the self-test happening, and within seconds, both remote TVs showed the same image from my media player. What I like is that I can still watch the content locally. I connected a monitor to the loop-out port on the transmitter, and it worked without any extra steps. The video on all three displays is sharp, and I’m seeing 4K at 60Hz with no lag. I tested it with a fast-paced movie and some gaming, and there was no delay I could notice. The product supports HDR, Dolby Vision, and HDCP 2.2, so I didn’t have any issues playing protected content from streaming services. I also set up the audio extraction on both the transmitter and one of the receivers. I connected a soundbar at the main location using the coaxial output, and it pulled the audio cleanly from the HDMI stream. At the remote location, I used the 3.5 mm analog output to connect to a small stereo. It worked just as well. I didn’t need to change any settings—the audio came through automatically. The IR blasters took a little time to position correctly. I attached the small IR transmitter near my media player and the larger IR receivers near each TV. When I press buttons on the remote at a remote location, the signal goes back to the transmitter over the same network cable and controls the source device. I had to adjust the angle a few times to get consistent response, but once it was aligned, it worked reliably. It’s worth noting that the IR control only works with IR remote devices, so RF or Bluetooth remotes won’t function through this extender system. As it's PoE, I only need one power supply. The transmitter sends power over the network cable to the receivers, so I didn’t have to find outlets near the remote TVs. That made the installation much simpler. The ventilation slots on all units keep them from overheating, and I’ve had them running for hours without any issues. I checked the ID switches on the back of the transmitter, but I didn’t need to change them. The manual explains how to adjust frame rate or audio settings if needed, but plug-and-play worked fine for my setup. I also noticed the RS232 ports, which I might use later if I integrate this into a larger control system. The video signal is stable over the full length of my cable run, which is about 380 feet. I tested it with different sources, including a game console and a streaming box, and everything worked the same way. I didn’t need to install any software or drivers. I just connected the cables, applied power, and it started working. The extender duplicates the exact video resolution from the source, so both TVs display the same 4K output without any downscaling options. I’ve had the system running for a few weeks now, and it has been consistent. I like that I can control the source from any room and still see the same high-quality picture everywhere. The build quality feels solid, and the included accessories made it easy to mount the units out of sight. It has high compatibility with long established and most recent standards. That makes it quite valuable as as a HDMI extender.

Well this device was bought on June 2 and stop working at the beginning of August and off course Amazon said ups is out of 30 days return period and you have to get in contact with sellers well there’s not a contract with the seller or very little only true e-mail and whenever they like to respond to you and the phone number don’t even bother to call I have call at least 30 times but customer services is always no available at this it doesn’t matter what time you call they don’t respond so I finally got a green light true e-mail and they send me the RMA which I had to pay for the return for repairs because they don’t cover that now they the item for at least 6 days now and asking all kinds of silly questions they don’t even confirm the have may tracking number said is being delivered supposedly this device had 1 year warranty but I have been fighting with the and Amazon since the beginning of August and now is August 29 and I am still waiting not good product or customer service very disappointing also with Amazon last representative from Amazon told that Amazon couldn’t do anything about because it was over 30 day like I could predict the future and know this was going to stop working I would not even bother to buy it now I just have to wait and see is was a waste of money or what
