For installation, nothing can be easier. From opening the package to mounting my phone on this phone holder took about 30 seconds or less, and that is without reading the instructions. For practicality, it does obstruct part of the sat-nav screen directly below the CD player but fortunately to no detriment as I didn't use that sat-nav because of the outdated maps, and the obstructed part of the screen is less than 1 cm on the top edge so it shouldn't affect its use. For ease of use, I have never used a phone holder with less ease than this. The 'ball-joint' on the back plate provides exactly the right amount of friction for keeping the phone at the place where I've set it, no tightening ring required, and I can keep adjusting it at will, changing the angle of the display, even changing from portrait to landscape. It is as easy as grab it and move it then leave it. For asthestic, it really is minimalist and unobtrusive, so I love it. For value, while not the cheapest, this looks well made, well designed, and so simple to use, and it can also easily be transferred from one car to another, so I hope this will be the last one I ever have to buy. It isn't proven as I've only got it today but potentially this is the best value phone holder.

This is the best phone holder I've had and I've tried and sent back loads. By accident I left my last holder in my dad's car when I sold it. Glad I did now. It was OK, but not very stable. My car doesn't have horizontal vents and my Galaxy S10 phone has a plastic cover (and I keep 4 credit card sized cards in it which the cover isn't designed for). So finding a holder that fits and is stable has been difficult. All the CD style holders I've seen tend to hang over the touch screen radio/system which would be inconvenient for me. This holder is working great because: 1. It sits above and proud of the touch screen. 2. It's easy to install. Came with extra inserts to make sure it would fit the CD player - I didn't need them. Took me about 10 seconds to fit. 3. It's super sturdy. Doesn't move at all even over really bumpy country lanes. 4. It fits a Galaxy S10 with plastic cover and stuff I put inside it. 5. The grip on phone is really strong but hasn't affected the side buttons on the phone which I thought it might do. The cover might help with that. 6. You can rotate the phone holder really easily with the phone in it and easily change the angle towards the driver. So if you've got a CD player and you don't use it much, this could be the product for you as it has been for me.

The extra pads give it a good range of fitment, couple of in and outs to get the best fit but removal and installation after that would take 2 secs. Works either way up, I use it 'upside down' in my Transit Custom for sturdiest fit due to the shape of the dash. Multi positional head and neck doesn't move position even with a large device installed It leaves a clear view of the parking sensor screen. It is suspended in front of the stereo buttons but doesn't stop access, it's very rare to use them once the radio is set.

Se instala directamente en la ranura del CD del coche en pocos segundos y queda muy firme, sin moverse incluso en carreteras con baches. El sistema de sujeción con muelle es muy cómodo se puede poner y quitar el teléfono con una sola mano. Además, permite ajustar la altura, girar 360° y inclinar el móvil, por lo que es perfecto para usar el GPS mientras conduces. Incluye varias almohadillas para adaptarse mejor a la ranura del CD, lo que hace que quede muy bien fijado. Hält auch in schwierigen Situationen (unbefestigte Straße) Bombenfest, ist durch einen Hebel zu arretieren/lösen und man muss nicht an einer Schraube drehen, geht schnell und man bricht sich nicht die Finger (einge Autohersteller haben den CD Palyer nicht nach ergonmischen Gesichtspunkten positioniert). Das Telefon wird ebenfalls gut gehalten, da wackel und vibriert nichts. Ragt für mein Empfinden etwas weit heraus, aber man gewöhnt sich dran. Ich habe sonst Telefone direkt am Lüftungsgitter, aber auch das ist bei einigen Autoherstellern nicht immer möglich. Unser Zweitwagen ist ein Ford Focus BJ 2015 ohne Navi ohne eine einzige gerade Fläche im Cockpit und schräge Luftauslässe, da bin ich echt froh mal was gefunden zu haben was auch mal hält und im Sicht- UND Bedienbereich ist, man muss es in dem Auto allerdings verkehrtherum (Unterseite / Hebel nach Oben) einbauen, da auch der CD-Schlitz dem Design folgt und schräg nach oben zeigt.
