The media could not be loaded.  When I first opened the lamp I found myself watching the grains of sand fall and create beautiful patterns. I am mesmerized and have a sense of calm as I watch the sculpture evolve. As the sand falls it creates a different sculpture on the front and back at the same time. I chose blue sand. On one side there are several different shades of blue, white and a copper metallic color. The other side has white, light and medium blues only a little metallic shows through. As you can see in my video, I have the rainbow of colors slowly changing. You can choose how fast or slow it changes or you can have it set on one color. You can also control how bright it appears. It comes with a remote, battery included. With the remote you can choose the on duration. The lamp has a usb end on the cord. The plug adapter for the usb is NOT included. I used a spare wall adapter from a phone. This lamp requires you to turn the sand manually. There is a lamp that looks a little different and has additional features. It would make a great gift for yourself and someone else. I am so glad I bought this item. It is a wonderful addition to my home.
