BIG BANG THEORY S4 (DVD/S)

Love this show. Instead of another 'standard' sitcom, the idea of 4 nerds having an actually interesting life to watch is great in my opinion. You expect it to be boring, but even though intellectual terms and concepts are not avoided (half of the time you have no idea what they are talking about), it is easily understandable and very funny. The personalities are worked out thoroughly and it's easy to feel for them (yes, even for Sheldon). Extremely funny.

If you like big bang theory you simply must get it! Nothing has changed its just as brilliant as it always was and it seems that every time a new character is brought into the programme it gets better which is a nice change when you compare it to other comedy programmes......or any programmes for that matter! Its witty as ever and perfect for anyone whos a geek....like me ! :)

A superb new series from a superb group of writers and actors. This show gets better and better each year. As new charcaters are introduced, a new dimension to the show is formed allowing the main characters to develop further. Jim Parsons (Dr Sheldon Cooper) has a natural gift of perfect comic timing, the best sitcom actor since David Hyde Pierce (Dr Niles Crane in Frasier).

Just received and watched "The Big Bang Theory Season 4". After watching the first 3 seasons, I became addicted to the characters from the show. The show is fun to watch, and dispite the many difficult words that are used, it's easy to follow. My girlfriend is poor at English, but she even understands the show. As well as the other season, this season contains a lot of struggling between the group of friends. Sheldon searches for his place in the group. Leonard and Penny are both beeïng jealous, and the final episodes leaves lots of room for new shows in the next season. I can't wait for season 5 to be available on DVD!

Season 4 of The Big Bang Theory is where the show really shines, blending its signature nerdy humor with deeper character development and new dynamics. Watching TBBT is like taking drugs, it is addictive. It is inconceivable, every single episode is pure fun and gets even funnier. And the fun lies absolutely in the details. It is incredible that a narcisstic person like Sheldon can be played as so lovely. Even clichés are represented very lovingly. If you like natural sciences, if you have an absurd sense of humor and if you are psychologically interested in the characters, you will love it like nothing else on TV before.

Boxset arrived promptly discs played well in overall great condition

Everyone has a girlfriend except Raj, and Penny is off-and-on single and jealous of Leonard's new girl (Rajesh's sister). All the new female characters work within the plotline and, like the fellahs, are all first rate actors. Sheldon's character continues to develop as his girlfriend proves (almost) his equal in intelligence but with common sense - well social pragmatism anyway. Oh, and she has a sex drive which proves a challenge to both of them. The girls develop a social group around Penny, except for Leonard's new girl, leading to more tension. Very enjoyable.

Très bonne saison où on accueille deux femmes scientifiques mais chut...Très bon achat, les voix françaises (certes moins intéressantes que les originales) sont toujours les mêmes, je suis vigilante à ça car c'est quelque chose qui m'insupporte lorsque les voix changent alors que le comédien est toujours le même. Pour ceux qui se posent la question: Il y a bien la VF.

Die 4. Staffel durfte in meiner Sammlung natürlich von Anfang an nicht fehlen - mir gefällt darin besonders die Darstellung des Charakters Sheldon, der sich selbst keineswegs als "socially awkward" bezeichnet sondern der "social glue" der Gruppe ist. Während Leonard und Howard verzweifelt nach intakten Beziehungen zu Frauen suchen, befindet sich Sheldon in einer funktionierenden, körperlich und seelisch unabhängigen Verbindung mit Amy Farrah Fowler - die beiden sind übrigens mein absolutes Lieblingspärchen der Serie. Besonders lustig ist, dass Sheldon von Howard, Penny und Co. überlistet wird und er an seiner Überlegenheit zu (ver)zweifeln beginnt. Putzig ist auch seine Panik vor dem virtuellen Treffen mit Amys Mutter und die Erleichterung nach Amys Bekundigung es sei selbstverständlich keine romantische Verirrung sondern diene ausschließlich dazu Shelden als ihren mehr oder weniger authentischen "boyfriend" ("she is a girl, she is a friend, she is NOT my girlfriend") zu präsentieren. Sheldon beschäftigt sich - wie der Zuschauer selbst - einmal mehr mit der Frage: Do you recognize irony when you see it?

Incondicional de la serie no puedo dejar de decir que es una increible temporada, al igual que las 3 anteriores. El precio muy interesante hay que añadir que además tenemos el audio en castellano.

Watched since its inception, this is one of the best, and latest, good clean entertainment ever run on TV! I plan to buy the remaining seasons because our family loves this show so much. It is feel good entertainment right down to Sheldon's most quirky moments! What a shot!
