QGBV2500 Leaf Blower Vacuum - Green/Black

I have never had a leaf blower before and having moved to a house last year with a lot of trees I spent last Autumn brushing up leaves,what a stupid waste of time!. This leaf blower is cheap and does a great job. The instructions were useless but i easily figured out how to put it together. the simple flick of a switch between blowing and sucking leaves is great and it has great suction. The first few times I used it on gravel i blew the leaves onto the solid driveway first but now i have figured I can suck from gravel as long as I keep it a little bit higher up which keeps makes it even quicker. It has blocked on a couple of occasions but clears easily and to be fair its when i have the nozzle in the middle of a pile of leaves, just keep the nozzle a bit higher and it seems stop the blockages. All in all a good buy and I would happily buy one again.

We had a leaf blower/vacuum that we had bought from a major DIY store a couple of years ago and we must have used it 3 times max! It was quite heavy, the blower didn't really blow and the vacuum used to jam constantly. So we ordered this one, not really expecting much but just something to help with the mammoth task of collecting the leaves as we have so many trees.... Well this product does exactly what it says - the blower is really powerful and does a great job of clearing the leaves and it is really easy to manouver and light weight. The vacuum is good too, but with the blower being so powerful it is just as easy to blow the leaves into a pile and leave them to decompose or put them in the garden bin. I would recommend this product - great value for money too.

I bought this after having some feedback from past customers from a question posted. We have a large Silver Birch tree and we are forever scooping up leaves but always struggling with all the tiny little catkin seeds on the lawn and decking. I bought this specifically for those annoying tiny bits and haven’t been disappointed. Have only used it once so far and I was suitably impressed, especially for how much we paid (£33 on offer - barg!). It’s quite heavy but not overly so, but would recommend using the shoulder strap if you are using for a chunk of time, as aches the arms after awhile otherwise! It is easy to use and did a great job and pulling the flaky seed bits up out of the decking grooves. It didn’t get everything, but if I had persisted a little while longer (the kids put paid to that) I think it would’ve pretty much got most of it - but I was really surprised how much it did suck up given the width of the nozzle at the end. I haven’t yet used the blower mode yet but I don’t anticipate that being any less useful. It was an absolute doddle to put together and took me less than 10 minutes with a screwdriver. Highly recommend if you are wanting a basic blower/vac without wanting to break the bank!

This is a very good leaf blower and I recommend it. I bought it last autumn and used it three times then and again in late winter. Conditions were damp on each occasion. Blowing is good and efficient but does not really suit my conditions. So more sucking than blowing for me and this is also perfectly effective!.Assembly and operation are easy.The zip on the bag could do with being a heavier duty given that it carries the weight of the mulched leaves but it has coped so far. It would also have been helpful if it was easier to disassemble the tubes. Picking up damp & dirty leaves deposited soil in the channel that transfers the leaves into the bag. That soil built up, dried and clogged during the third usage, drastically reducing the blower's effectiveness.It was easy to clean once I had removed the tube but not easy getting in with a fair chance of doing some damage in the process. And this will almost certainly need repeating at least annually. But these reservations are not major. This is an very effective leaf sucker/blower and good value for money.

Used it only once since bought and following are some of my observations: Pros: Product assembly was easy and quick. Great suction. Picked up heavily wet leaves without any complaint. When bag not full, it is relatively lighter to handle giving higher control. Change between suction and blow is simple and effective. Cons: - Assembly instructions were a nightmare. I did my assembly looking at the photographs on the Amazon product page. - The shoulder strap is holding the machine through a triangular clasp, which has a single focal connecting point to the machine. This is absurd as when the bag is full, there is a lot of load on that single point. My triangular clasp snapped during first use itself. Have to look for alternative arrangements. - The back clasp of the bag does not fit in comfortably on the machine. While taking the bag out, you have to use a lot of force to pull the clasp out. Guess what, the clasp on my machine broke too during first use. - This might seem contrary to most reviews but I found the suction to be a bit weak. Leaves trapped in bushes or plants could not be displaced. - Storage is a bit difficult. It would have been great if the blower/sucker was telescopic, i.e. extendable. In general, although I was happy with the performance, given the price, the construction and ergonomics do not make me a very happy customer.

I was a bit sceptical at the low price and thought this might be a cheap and poor item - wrong on the second part, it is very reasonably priced but the item itself is quite robust and performs extremely well - I was delighted at how well it picked up all the debris in my garden, we have two tall conifers that shed tons of dead twigs etc each year which have always been a total pain to clear up. The Garden Vac made short work of cleaning up all the bits of twigs and leaves and as a bonus it shreds them down into fairly small bits which then just pour out of the huge waste collection bag into a waste container or whatever. Overall I am delighted with this purchase, the instructions are clear with a drawing of all the parts, plus contact numbers should you require assistance - I would have no trouble recommending this product to anyone wanting a robust garden Vac/Blower - do not worry about the price, the unit is very well made, easy to assemble and does exactly what it is made to do - better than previous and much more expensive ones I've bought in the past.

Got this item next working day which was excellent as the ETA was 5 days. Wasn't expecting much as this was only £35, however I am shocked at how good it is! Sucks up leaves with no effort and even if they are wet, if they don't budge then just set to blower and after a few passes it'll blow out! There are a few stones in my garden which did occasionally go in to the vac but just let go of the button and they fell out, was a bit worried about this from reading reviews of other more expensive blowers which broke when a stone went in to them - so really impressed this one doesn't seem to suffer from this problem. It used to take me about over 2 hours to rake the lawn and usually pull most of the grass up with the leaves, with this vac it took 10 mins and the bonus of not pulling out any grass... I really wish I'd bought this a year ago as leaves are such a pain in my area, saves so much time and hassle, worth every penny! The only note is that the cable is only 6 meters so you may want to purchase and extension lead as well.

I bought this because of the reviews and it has lived up to expectations. The motor is powerful enough to blow all the leaves into a good pile and strong enough to suck up leaves even when wet. It has also sucked up small twigs and on one occasion a large pebble, which I managed to notice and evict before it got to the shredder part (which works well by the way). I take more care about how close to get the nozzle to the ground now!! The bag is plenty big enough. When full (especially wet leaves) the weight is more than enough for comfort. If asked by the designer I would suggest 2 improvements; to add a quick release electrical connection on the power wire at the machine end so that you don't have to coil and take the power wire to the compost bin (I may do this myself anyway); and to add a lock to the trigger switch so that you can have the motor working without having to hold the trigger all the time (though I can understand their may be health and safety concerns that could provoke). Overall I give it 4 stars because it is still new to me and so reliability is still unproven.
