HATCHBOXPLA 3D Printer Filament, Dimensional Accuracy +/- 0.03 mm, 1 kg Spool, 1.75 mm, Glow in The Dark

I have been using Hatchbox filaments since 2018 (back when they were 19.99 a roll!), ABS, PLA, TPU, Etc. in my 15+ machines. You can NOT go wrong with Hatchbox. The accuracy is spot on and the print settings you use will never need to be adjusted, (due to filament variation). I have purchased hundreds of rolls in all colors, wood, glow in the dark, etc. FYI, PLA is way better and less toxic than ABS. It also looks and feels better! This glow in the dark version actually glows well, and does NOT loose it's ability to glow. I have something on my wall since 2018 and it still glows every night! Overall, best brand, best quality, and best variations you can find on the market. Also, NO I am not sponsored by them, I wish I was, LOL!

Used this on a Raise N2 Plus and it looks great and had no issues printing at basic PLA settings. I have another roll of Glowing filament and it really didn't work well but this works really nice was great for printing glowing things for my kids. Really lights up under UV lights.

This filament really exceeded expectations regarding how brightly it can glow once charged. I teach a high school 3D printing class, and my students really thought is was fun. They enjoyed it so much that I purchased some for my own personal 3D printer and children to use. It was also a hit with them.Like all Hatchbox filaments I've tried, it was consistent regarding required temperature settings and the quality of the final print. HOWEVER, I have found that it seems to pick up moisture a bit faster than some other filaments, so I would highly suggest storage in a plastic bag with silica packs when it's not being used. This really made a big difference.The only downside of the final products using this filament is that they require direct sunlight to fully charge. Once charged, though, they are very bright with that classic glow-in-the-dark green luminescence. They also stay charged for a reasonable amount of time.

This is my go-to for glow in the dark filaments, always a champ on the first layer, and adhesion on all other layers. I go a little warmer for printing, at 220C, which I feel gives a great results for bridging and layer adhesion. The time it glows is about standard for glow filaments, and I use it for pull chain bobs on ceiling fans and lights, and they glow well enough to see them in a dark room all night long.Recommended!

This glow-in-the-dark (GITD) filament prints very well. It's PLA so it also requires much less heat and has considerably reduced warping compared to ABS. This glows in a soft light-green color, but the sustain of the light isn't very bright nor very long, much like most other GITD filaments. The print itself is very similar to "natural" color PLA filament, but the quality of print is much better on my printer than the typical translucent filaments. Most of the HatchBox filaments have been very good to excellent over the years that I have been using them. If you print Christmas ornaments and then hang them on your tree close to a white light, it will glow once you turn the lights off. This uses typical PLA print speeds and heat settings. I use Elmer's Xtreme GlueStick for holding it on the print-bed. It's easy to apply and clean-up afterwards. Under normal conditions, this can be considered as a replacement for "natural" PLA, unless you simply don't want the glow to show up.

I am beyond impressed by this filament! When I first saw this on Amazon, I thought the glow would be very subtle, even when exposed to a lot of light beforehand. I was very wrong!Pros:- The green glow really exceeded my expectations. It's actually quite vibrant, even next to some other lighted objects (I'll include a picture of a "Solaire of Astora" print from Dark Souls next to my mouse and keyboard for reference), and it's really cool to look at in the dark. Especially if you hold your print under a light for a few seconds before turning the lights off.- This filament prints very smoothly. Just as great as other Hatchbox PLA I've used. I didn't have to adjust any of my default PLA settings to get pretty high quality prints at 0.2mm layer height.- Hatchbox filament comes in spools that have 4 spots to "clip" your filament on BOTH sides (8 total) when switching between spools. Other brands I've used usually have 2 on both sides; wasting small amounts of filament every time you switch spools if you're not using your own clip.Cons:- Nothing. This works just as great as other PLA filaments I've used!I would highly recommend this filament to anyone looking to get a "cool" kind of filament to print with. It has a great "slightly-transparent" white look to it when it's in the light, and a really cool solid green glow when it's in the dark. I absolutely love this filament, and it'll be perfect for small gifts or lettering.I included pictures of a few small gifts I made for people. The lightswitch cover bottom is printed with black Hatchbox PLA, and the lettering is printed with the Hatchbox glow in the dark PLA. The other pictures are the print I set next to my keyboard/mouse.

After purchasing PLA randomly I noticed that the stuff from hatchbox seemed to flow and print the best from my FlashForge Creator Pro. I got the glow in the dark mostly out of curiosity but now I am reprinting a lot of stuff because glow in the dark is awesome. The glow isn't as bright as stuff you might purchase from the store but it's pretty close. 3D printing is awesome to begin with but it's even better when it glows. I am not afraid to admit that I got a bit giddy when I took that first bust of yoda in the bathroom and turned off the light. I haven't decided if it matters or not but it prints semi clear which I wasn't expecting. In the light you can make out a bit of the infill. Only time I could see this being a concern is if I were to use it on things like the yoda bust. Then again I imagine using this for stuff you want to see during the night and not necessarily during the day. You can't see any of the internal structures of your print when it's glowing at night.

Estoy muy sorprendido de lo mucho que brilla el filamento, la verdad no tenia muchas expectativas sobre el brillo pero cuando lo expuse unos minutos al sol y luego lo vi en un cuarto oscuro me dejó impresionado, es super bonito como brilla todo el filamento, ahora estoy pensando en todas las figuras que haré con este filamento y estoy seguro que haré muchas compras mas, se los recomiendo muchísimo.

Brilliant as always from Hatchbox, good value and excellent quality. Diameter is extremely consistent varying only by 0.02mm at the absolute worst. Definitely worth buying!

después de casi 1 mes de uso decidí escribir una reseña, para poder juzgar adecuadamente el producto, y sin duda supero mis expectativas, valió la pena, extruye muy bien, se pega correctamente entre capas, dando como resultado una impresión final, muy muy solida, brilla bastante y se mantiene, he hecho varias cosas, todas con una solidez increíble ! en cuanto se me acabe el filamento volvere a comprarobtienes lo que pagas, recomendable

Used this to print some glow in the dark christmas trees for the season and it seemed to print easily and without issue, the trees came out great and they do glow well for a short while thought it doesn't last very long before needed recharging. Perhaps a more solid object would glow longer, I'll have to try and see.
