Ornate Carved Wooden Cello Stand

This wooden stand displays my cello without hiding any of the beauty of the instrument (as the “box” ones do). I love the aesthetic so very much. My cello is lovely to behold, and easy to grasp from the stand and play.

Bought this for my mom who plays cello as a Christmas gift. Very pretty.

If you want to make your cello into a showpiece, this is the stand for you! Constructed of fine wood stained to match most naturally finished instruments, this carved piece certainly displays any cello to its best advantage. I like it because the cello remains readily accessible for practice and matches my Victorian decor. Very sturdy and well padded.

I love this stand! It is stable and allows my cello to be a work of art when I am not playing. It doesn't have a place for the bow, but I solve that by (carefully)hanging my bow on one of the tuning pegs. The best part is that my cello is out and about, so I play it more often than I would if I had to wrestle with the hard case every time I wanted to practice. I have a 4x4 cello.

The wood finish is high gloss orange color that clashes with the cradle fabric. A choice in wood color would have been nice. It fits my cello perfectly.

This cello stand has the classic look I was going for. The color matches the color of a cello nicely, and the padding inside the stand is perfect to protect the cello and for added detail. Just be aware that the scrolls and woodwork in the picture look a bit nicer than in real life. Also, the padding isn't attached to the stand flawlessly. There's a bit of a separation between the wood and the cushion. It's a nice stand, but it's not as well made as I was hoping.

I purchased this item for a friend who does not have a computer. She is very pleased with the cello stand, great workmanship. The item arrived as scheduled. She said it looks beautiful in her living room, just what she wanted.
