might be on a small side but the entertainment value is big
it doesn't look much but it has been a set of never-ending game of imagination,on the first day the set was play with for 8hours! bliss. it's easy to put together by a 6year old, lots of small bits,eg. golden money, but they've been used in a game (not like some bits from other sets). my girl prefers this set to the fairy one - there's so much more to this pirate island, shame there's no pirate girl included - have to buy one separately.

Great set, the skeleton is good, let down by the cannon.
This only gets 4 stars as the cannon is not the same type as the ones in other playmobil pirates, the ammunition is smaller and easy to loose, and is not compatible with all the other cannons we have. That aside, it makes for good indoor play when it’s raining, and the skeleton is a great addition.

I bought this for my four-year-old's birthday and he really loves it. It arrived very quickly too. He got so excited when he opened his present and saw the box with the lovely picture on. He has quite a bit of Playmobil now, including another pirate set and enjoys getting it all out when his big brother helps him set it up. For anyone not familiar with Playmobil, there are a LOT of very small parts. We keep ours in large Tupperware type containers so tiny pieces don't get lost. To conclude - if your child likes Playmobil then they'll adore this addition to the pirates themed sets.

Great Island
Bought for my 4 year old son. Lots of small bits with this island, as with all of the pirate items. We have put many into safe keeping. Lots of exciting things like skeletons etc.
