0.5m VGA Cable I was mounting an old HP mini PC on the back of a monitor and needed a short VGA capable to complete a tidy and compact setup. This cable was perfect for the job and remains nicely out of view. The picture is as clean and crisp as VGA gets and, as I've come to expect from previous KabelDirekt purchases, manufacturing quality seems to be excellent. I would have been perfectly happy to pay full price, but it just so happened to be on a 50% discount at the time so was an absolute bargain!

I needed a replacement for an old VGA cable and read the reviews carefully. This cable has the feeling of a quality item and the difference in picture quality was immediately evident. It also enabled automatic selection of the optimal resolution which didn't happen on my old cable.

When it comes to cables, you have a plethora of choices. I wanted to connect my laptop to the plasma TV. The problem was that I needed a long run of cable. I could have gone for a 3 meter length, but the wife was't too keen on the idea. It made the living room look 'untidy'. Funny, I didn't see it that way, but I did pick up on the potential tripping hazard. Anyway, I had to get the 10m length, this narrowed down the choices available. I decided to buy the Cable from KabelDirekt. An interesting choice of spelin. The cable arrived promptly. A thick diameter cable generally indicates a sign of good quality. It was easy to secure the cable using the rotating screws.The metal connectors have 24K gold-plated contacts. The cable is double shielded throughout and the copper used is oxygen free. OFC is normally found in high end cables. However it does not state the purity of the copper. There's not much more to be said that hasn't been said already. I did not experience any problems with lag etc On a side note, when I purchased my top end home theater system, I was advised to buy the best cable I could afford. I was told the cables that come with the system are generally low end and poor-quality. Such cables can't deliver the performance the system is capable of producing. I use the same analogy when buying computer cables. This brings me to another point. The same can't be said for HDMI cables. VGA cables carry an analog signal as opposed to a digital signal. HDMI cables stream digital video and audio simultaneously in the same cable. A 'standard' HDMI cable can run up to 15m without any signal loss. Don't be duped by pretentious salespersons, purchase the cheapest HDMI cable, plug it in and enjoy. If the product is unworthy of a good review, I think it is unfair to leave positive feedback as this can mislead potential buyers. I hope you found the review helpful. Bought this to replace a 1.5m cable. Came on time, well packaged. Looks like a quality cable and plugs. Connected well and the monitor came up first time as good as my last cable at 1920x1200. The only issue I have is that the chunky plug barely fitted into my graphics card as the case overlapped a bit (see picture above). It was a squeeze but I managed to get it connected. Just be careful to check what space you have available when buying.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Excellent cable, brilliant image transfer compared to my old VGA cable. Tested both the 0.5m and 3m cables and both are excellent with no loss of signal. Very pleased customer.

This VGA cable exceeded my expectations in both quality and performance. The high-purity copper conductors and gold-plated 15-pin connectors ensure excellent signal transmission and protection against corrosion. These cables are very good and I'm more than happy with the picture quality from my desktop computer to my HDTV. Reading some of the reviews on here I'd like to say to those who are not familiar with cables that the VGA cable only conveys a picture signal, No sound! You'll need an HMDI cable which will convey both the Picture and sound but these VGA cables are for the graphics/picture signal only. If you really need a VGA cable then you may want to include a 3.5mm sound cable which comes with a variety of different connectors at either end. (Male speaker jack connections at both ends in my case). One end of the sound cable plugs into the green socket (sound) on the back of my computer and the other end of the cable goes to the speakers that I want to use which also have a 3.5mm socket. Both type of cables work well together, no lag or delay. Please research if your devices have the correct sockets for the cable you intend to buy. It's easy to make mistakes so knowing the difference between RCA, VGA, HMDI, SCART etc will help you make the right choice of cable for your setup. I also found it to be a good idea to order a longer cable than I actually needed especially if your devices are quite a distance from each other. I ordered a 10m, VGA cable as my devices are far apart from each other and picture quality over the distance remains excellent.

Ich nutze das Kabel seit 2023 für mein Karaoke-Setup. Damit verbinde ich mein Yamaha Tyros 4 entweder mit dem Fernseher oder mit dem Beamer. Die Bildübertragung ist stabil und klar, ohne Aussetzer oder Wackelkontakt. Das Kabel wirkt hochwertig verarbeitet und zuverlässig im Einsatz. Klare 5 Sterne.

I bought it 8 month s ago. I am using the cable from them, and now it works perfectly, the picture quality are ok, as a first day. The quality of materials are very good. I needed it to plug a computer to my projector, and for that, it is perfect. the 20 feet length doesn't loose quality. I would buy again. Yes. Packaging was ok and delivery was perfectly, 1 day.
