Rapesco CS6RY0B1 Essential 16cm Stainless Steel Scissors, Black

Rapesco products have been pretty good in my experience, more often than not, and these scissors are a good example of Rapesco hitting the sweet spot of quality and value. These scissors are obviously made to a pretty tight budget, but they are sharp and cut neatly. They were a little smaller than I expected, but as they really do measure 16cm from tip to handle, I'm not sure why they seem smaller than I was expecting. (I've included a pic with an AA battery to give you an idea of the size. See what I mean about being smaller than you expect?) Anyway, as a handy add-on item to push you into free delivery territory for less than a quid, these scissors are a winner. Great value!

We got these scissors for messy jobs and they have been in the dishwasher about 30 times by now and they haven't dulled or shown a single sign of rust or stress. They are superb quality for the price. Just be aware they aren't large - they are smallish but that one caveat aside i almost want to buy another box just in case they stop selling them.

Bought this amount as they always get lost. Decided to hide a few so that the others get returned. Made by Rapesco which is quite a good brand.

Didn't read the title properly when I purchased these as looking at the picture, I thought it was varying sizes of scissors.... My own fault. Decent enough scissors though (sharp) and good size, so I have distributed to family and friends!

Good to snip bandages

I am becoming big fan of RAPESCO as the they have quality products for a good price. I bought these scissors because my old one was becoming blunt, and they did not disappoint. It had sturdy packaging on delivery, but easy to open and the price (85p) they cannot get any better. I use them to cut fabric, and it works very well. My only criticism may be that it took quite a while to get delivered, but if you are in a rush you can always pay for amazon prime delivery. Would recommend to all.

I've had pairs of Rapesco scissors in this size for about 20 years now, and I love them. They're great, they stay sharp forever, and... the plastic handles used to be really comfortable. The handles have gone downhill and I don't enjoy using this iteration anywhere near as much. The plastic feels cheaper and the shape's not as ergonomic for my hands. If you're thinking of buying these and you don't have memories of their older, better ones, you probably won't be disappointed.

I absolutely love these scissors. So good for the price. Very sharp and long lasting I have used for 3 years and still works fine. No frills, just good scissors! I have these for kitchen use, paper cutting and general use, definitely would reccomend.

Really good quality for the price! I replaced my kitchen scissors 5 times last year, as the quality from the usual brands is so terrible (the typical plastic handles just break!). These ones look sturdy enough to not break so easily.

J'avais déjà acheté un ciseaux comme celui-ci il y a plusieurs mois et voulant en avoir d'avance tant ils sont de bonne qualité et d'un prix abordable, j'ai acheté la boîte en contenant dix le prix me praraissant très très compétitif par rapport au prix d'un seul ciseaux ! Résultat, j'en ai mis dans toutes les pièces de la maison, comme çà, on trouve toujours à sa portée un bon ciseaux car on a toujours quelque chose à découper, que ce soit du papier, du carton, du fil, du tissu et en cuisine. L'important est de donner une seule fonction à chaque ciseaux et de ne pas en changer. Si l'on choisit qu'il coupera du fil, ou du tissu on ne lui fait pas couper du carton. De même pour celui de lu cuisine, s'il coupe du poulet, du jambon, du lard, de la salade ect... on ne lui fera pas ensuite couper du papier ou autre. C'est comme cela que l'on conservera longtemps tout le coupant des lames. Voilà ! j'espère vous avoir été utile. Cordialement.
