This is a review for the 1 metre cable. This is an excellent little cable and an absolute bargain at the price they have it for here. The build quality is very very high end and it looks much more expensive then it really is with it's multitoned braiding and golden coloured ends. Looks aside and getting into the more important aspects of it's performance, there are no concerns here either. The connectors are perfect fits, they clip in easily and without fuss but the connector feels very stable and not loose at all so it's not going anywhere once fitted. Sound quality is as expected through a good quality optical cable, you aren't going to have a drop in sound quality using these over the much more expensive and over hyped cables. At this price you cannot go wrong and it is worth replacing all of your old cables with these just to be on the safe side (especially if you have spent a fortune on a decent system).

The best way to transfer sound from Audio devices is via a optical source, this is a well documented fact. However so many optical cables are less effective than they should be which ultimately reduces sound quality and overall listening pleasure. Here we have a product that truly performs as it should, the connections are secure and the cable itself appears to be of the highest quality which is reflected in the sound output. This product represents outstanding value for money and is a must have for anyone wishing to improve the sound transfer from their TV, DVD, ETC. I have used a Denon amp to run my surround sound system and am delighted with this low cost addition to my system and the improvement it has give to the overall sound quality and depth. If your reading this you are looking for a good quality OPTICAL CABLE, so in my opinion you have just found it. .

Overall is a very good product, quality of sound is amazing. However the head is very thick and doesn't fit properly into my BOSE receiver as shown. I need to be careful not moving it and sometimes pops-out without touching. That's the only issue I have with it.

These leads cover everything as far as I am aware, they are nice and thick to avoid damage, look fantastic and stylish and perform very well indeed.I have been using a bush gold plated hdmi lead which I got from Argos. I have been using this with my ps3 and have had nothing but problems with it, I could not work out if it was the t.v, the ps3 or the lead giving me problems until I took a chance and bought some of these leads.As soon as I swapped them out, problem was solved.These are fantastic quality and well priced at £7-£8 each, worth every penny.Really fast delivery, reasonable packaging and would highly recommend to others.

Yes, an optical cable is perhaps the simplest and, on balance, most cost effective way of getting a high-quality signal from one device to another. In my particular case, this is to re-commission a (older) Sony stereo system, where I've re-connected the CD player (optically, obv.) with the amplifier.Does it do the job? Quite simply, yes it does. Does it do it well? Yes, the system has detected and successfully worked, with the optical connection.So why have I marked this down? Well, I'm well aware that you don't get electro-magnetic interference with an optical connection, so there's little to worry about, when it comes to the 'shielding' or the cable or the connectors. It's either going to work or it's not; but that doesn't take anything away from my personal (and I'll admit, entirely subjective) view on quality.The 'braided' covering it the spun plastic outer that's most common on PC / Network connections (that I use regular). It might look like a woven / braided pattern in the pictures, but the reality isn't quite the same.The connectors / ends are the biggest let down, as they're a 'gold' finish plastic, rather then being alloy, metal or anodised. the quality of the actually edges (always a tell) leaves a lot to be desired, with clear signs of poor fill and flash from the manufacturing.As a 'budget' option, this fits the bill, as it should do exactly what you need, but don't confuse this (as I did) for being better than it actually is.The 'Master Gold' is clearly either a 'product' name or bit of branding, as there's absolutely no more than gold 'colour' in the finish.

This is a very beautiful cable, it puts all my other cables to shame! The braiding on it is amazing, it has a very interesting patten with gold interleaved into it.Connectors are sturdy gold & have good grips & the cable is think & well fitted enough to prevent it from drooping if it hangs when plugged. Sound quality is excellent & the fit in the socket is not too tight or loose.I have a lot of high quality expensive cables but this is the nicest cable I have now even though it's considerably cheaper.

Allein schon weil ich die Nase voll von diesen billigen/überteuerten Drecks-Kupfer-Cinch Kabeln habe.Wie viele hunderte Kupferkabel muss man ständig nachkaufen, weil sie so dünn und billig sind, dass sie knacksen anfangen und unbrauchbar werden, oft nach 4 Wochen Nutzung.Ich wünschte mehr Geräte würden auf Glasfaser umstellen. Kristallklarer Klang !!Habe dazu nen Soundblaster X7, und PC + Mac seitig optical audio.Jahr 2020 und wir kaufen Kupferkabel die schlechter sind, als selbstgelötet und teils teurer, als ein Walkman in den 90ern gekostet hat, wenn dann noch goldene Franzen dran hingenäht sind.

Ich habe mir das Kabel bestellt, um meinen Fernseher an dem Verstärker anzuschließen. Beim Auspacken des Kabels war ich noch guter Dinge und dachte, Sieht gut aus , haptisch in Ordnung, schön ummanteltes Kabel.....doch die Ernüchterung kam beim einstecken des Kabels. ES RASTET NICHT EIN. Somit ist die Hauptfunktion, eine sichere Steckverbindung, nicht gegeben. Das Design der Stecker liegt wohl mehr auf der Optischen Seite, etwas weniger Gold dafür mehr Funktionalität wäre hier wohl angebrachter gewesen. Leider komplett durchgefallen.
