Fits great in the modelling tray but beware glue can destroy the guide lines on it, but its very good nice and stiff it has very useful markings degrees angles and so on, very handy even for matchstick modelling with all those angle lines. Even better for my plastic aircraft models, the only reason it has four stars and not five is that glue removed some of the ruler lines and numbers.

Excellent cutting mat made by Humbrol and the £6 price was terrific. I didn't know if I should get smaller or larger or more expensive but I didn't need to worry the A4 size is just right and I don't think I need an expensive one, maybe they last longer but this is doing well so far, I would definitely buy another.

A top quality product from Hornby Hobbies. A good thickness, metrics for all the key scales and just the right size for most scale modelling. Also fits the Humbrol workstation perfectly.

Other A4 cutting mats are available which would probably fit in the Humbrol work station (also purchased and separately reviewed) but this one has a few features which make it worth the extra cost: it's a very neutral grey colour which makes the markings on it very easy to read, and I think it's better than the usual green cutting mat; it contains marking which are actually very useful for scale modellers (comparisons between scales, 'protractors' etc). Seemingly self-healing (unless you really cut deeply into it)

Cutting mat arrived promptly, well packaged too. It is of excellent quality and includes scales and angles printed on it, which will be very useful for propeller blade alignment and checking accuracy during model construction. It also fits the Humbrol modelling workstation perfectly and should definitely be bought together.

Comprato per poco meno di 9€, mi sono detto: costa un po' troppo secondo me. Invece mi sbagliavo, il prezzo è giustissimo e i materiali di qualità di cui il tappetino è fatto ne sono la prova. E' grande come un foglio A4 (30,5 x 22,9) spesso e pesante, garantisce un'ottima base di lavoro per i modellisti. Mi aspettavo che il retro del tappetino fosse in gomma, in modo tale che una volta posizionato, risulti stabile e fermo, non è così ma non è un grande problema perché ci vorrà molto più di una distrazione per spostarlo mentre state lavorando. Questo tappetino, comunque, è stato pensato per essere inserito nella Humbrol Work Station e una volta incastrato lì non credo vada da nessuna parte. Non l'ho ancora provato come si deve e queste sono le mie prime impressioni, solido, resistente e di qualità, mi sento di consigliarlo a tutti coloro che praticano il modellismo, un must have.

Fabricada en material plástico compuesto, de momento resiste muy bien los cortes de bisturí, tras un uso de poca intensidad ( un mes). En una cara tiene impresas diversas plantillas y cuadrículas para transportar medidas y ángulos según las escalas más utilizadas en el mundo de las maquetas. Es cómodo y muy útil. Ocupa poco espacio ( apenas unos milímetros de espesor y superficie tamaño A4) Precio asequible para un producto que se muestra robusto y duradero. Quizá haya marcas que ofrezcan productos similares más baratos pero Humbrol suele ser sinónimo de calidad. Cumplió sobradamente mis expectativas.
