Drive Devilbiss Portable / Stackable Padded Bath Step

Amazingly fast delivery. This is the second one I have ordered as it is such a versatile and useful thing!It's useful for stepping into the bath and getting onto the bed. It is safe, strong and easy to stack to make a taller step.

When purchased these stackable steps were perfect for the job allowing my wife to get in and out of the bath, but having a walk in shower fitted there was no need for them so were stored in the loft, until they were put back into service for our annual holiday were there is only a shower inside a bath, problem: the sides of the steps have become brittle and crack and break of when two are joined together, one was thrown away as the top holed when it was stood apon. These steps are good when new but unfortunately do not store very well.

When you're disabled, one of the worst things is trying to get your home adapted and working in your favour.I moved home just over four months ago and now live in an upstairs flat, which has come from not even having a light bulb fitted to having carpet squares laid down, a shower area built, and now, a step-up to the bath.What a wonderful piece of kit this step is. I'm 5'3" and need help with getting into the bath so I can use my shower. With the arthritis taking it's inevitable toll on my hip and knee joints, I need to have a safe place to shower. This step helps immensely. The difference from a struggle to get in and out of my bath to a sudden change to safety made this purchase very worthwhile. It's the absolute difference between risking a fall to having complete safety getting in and out of the bath. I'd recommend this step to anybody. There's more than enough room to stand on safely. A grab handle or two would complete the safety issue. Install those, and you are set for life.

It is very stable, doesn't move when you step on and off and so it gives you confidence. If, like me, you need to move it into and out of position but cannot bend down, it is slightly awkward. A recessed handle in the surface might be the answer. That aside, I recommend it.

I had ordered this bath step, as I had injured my ankle and had difficulty stepping onto the bath. This surely helped. It is non-slippery over the marble floor, although I have pushed it against the tub to be safe. Apart from the look and colours (which really does not help the bathroom decor), its OK to live with. I wish, the colour was neutral e.g. grey or black and not white and blue.

This is a good-sized, robust non-slip step, ideal for getting into the bath if your shower is fitted above the bath. It has a non-slip surface and feels secure when you step on it, there is a rubber strip around the edge and where the four white dots are on the top is where there are additional columns for support and these have rubber feet on the end so the step doesn't slide about, even on laminate flooring. Height of one is four inches; we did buy a second step which can be stacked on top of the first by removing the four white plastic dots so that the support columns fit into it, this gives a total height of six inches. As well as a bath aid it is a also useful as a step for the grandchildren to use the toilet and being plastic it is easy to wash. Good price too.

I really like the way you can stack these steps so that you can determine for yourself how many you need to get in and out of the bath. They are sturdy lightweight and definitely value for money. I had occasion to contact the cellar and they dealt with my query speedily, efficiently with superb good grace. I have no reservations in recommending the product or the company.

This is a very lightweight step, easily moved, yet strong. After use it can easily be stored on its edge somewhere. Non slip blue matting on top works well. Bought to use in a care home environment and it doesn't disappoint. Good size and height to allow stepping in and out of the bath easier. I tested it, and at 15st it was rock solid! Highly recommended.
