Perfect! (For my vintage Globemaster)
Perfect fit. It is plastic. You are srewing on to metal. Mine is perfectly machined. So if you find that it is particulary firm to screw on .....then start again! The other end is designed to remove the plastic interior tubes. So all in all a good buy for me.

Misleading Description
This doesn't work with a vintage BOC sparklet soda siphon . The thread slips .

Fitted the soda siphon perfectly, but couldn't use it to remove the pastic sleeve as suggested

Bought this to work with an old BOAC soda syphon that I found at a car boot. and it works perfectly. Now I can pretend to be sophisticated and drink dry spritzers all summer!

Good replacement
Fits my BOC Sparklets perfectly. Good quality replacement.

Needed Customising
The holder was a little too long in the body to push the gas canister in far enough to charge the syphon. After inserting a small piece of rubber between the end of the gas bulb and the holder it worked fine.
