Hole Punch and riveting Pliers Set

Robust enough product for use, it's sturdy and made entirely out of metal. However, you have to apply a lot of force to use both, especially with the hole punch as it seems very blunt. Also upon opening, both tools were absolutely covered in what I hope was lubricant oils for them! It was all over the handles, every part of each tool, enough to put you off using them! Had to wipe my hands down after picking them up, felt like I just plunged both my hands in a barrel of olive oil!

Not as sharpe as I would have expected took a lot of effort to get it right had to get husband involved as I just wasn't strong enough

As others have stated, the punch is blunt and requires a firm grip to make an impression (I was trying to punch a hefty 8 sheets of paper!).Although I'm no Arnie, transpires my (single-handed) grip is too firm as under pressure, the punch arms buckled badly, rendering it useless. This within the first half-a-dozen uses!Eyelets OK but all the same size (4.5MM??), and the eyelet setter does its job.Otherwise avoid.

Looking forward to getting started on the new crafts and this tool will hopefully make the job easier

This item does the job. Not built to last years of hard wear, however great for occasional project use.Works well from new.
