Now I know why these things are so expensive...
There are certain conditions that nothing else can come close to sanding effectively. When sanding small parts or intricate details, I start with the outside edges and corners of the pad and trim those away when they become less effective, and nothing beats these things for sanding primer on automotive projects and lasting through the whole job. A quick blow off with an air hose and they go right back to work as though new.

This is a flexible sanding pad. It is not a rigid, "block-shaped" sponge. It works very well.
This is not your typical "block" sanding sponge. It's more like a pad. It's is about one-quarter inch thick and it is very flexible. If you need to sand something that has a cylindrical shape or has many curves, this pad is perfect. This particular item is rather coarse and it sands quickly.
