Really Great Deal. Ladybugs Arrived Early and Alive! Highly Recommended!
This year, I decided to try something that I have never done before. I wanted to plant a garden. Having never done anything like this, I know I have a LOT to learn. So I did a little research, "(but as I later learned not as much as I 'should' have)", and planted a small vegetable garden. About 12 ft long, 4 ft wide. After several weeks of care, it began to grow nicely. Everything was coming up big and strong. I was quite proud of my very first attempt at gardening. UNTIL...... I noticed an army of aphids had invaded my tomato plants. So, I thought I would get some aphid bug spray stuff for the problem. I spent over $80 on what was "supposed" to be some of the best on the market. Guaranteed to work. Then I sprayed every inch of my plants. Top and bottom of all the leaves then left it to do its job. I went back and checked that evening and guess what I saw? Dozens and dozens of drunk little aphids having a party. The little buggers were drinking the stuff like beer. Just dancing around,, singing and laughing at my stupidity. I thought maybe the whole "Kill On Contact" description of the pesticide was wrong. So I gave it a few days. Well, anyone thats ever been to massive rager with copious amounts of free alcohol can guess what happened then. All that money wasted on aphid spray and all I accomplished was throwing the little freaks a colossal aphid orgy. My infestation that numbered in the Dozens now numbered in the Hundreds upon Hundreds. Almost every leaf or stem was covered in aphids and little aphid babies. It was time to do some more research. And 2 days of that led to.... Ladybugs. After a day of reading reviews on numerous bug seller websites, I finally decided to go with this one. I ordered a 300 pack and a 150. Got them a couple days later and they were all still alive and kicking. My research said to release them at dawn or dusk, and to spray plants with a bit of mist beforehand. So, with my tomato plants covered in droplets of water for them to drink and all they aphids they could eat, I cut open both packs and set them on the ground at the base of the plants. They immediately started crawling out, so I left them to it. About 90 minutes later, I went to check on them. It was Horrible! A bloodbath! There were aphid body parts scattered all over the place. Ladybugs running around chasing them in all directions. I swear, I could even hear tiny little screams and pleas for mercy as some of the aphids gave futile attempts to beg for their lives, while others tried to make a deal with God. It was a Massacre of biblical proportions! Aphid Genocide! After a few days, most of the Ladybugs had flown off, but a few dozen stuck around to hunt down any ahpid survivors and to lay eggs. I am very pleased and impressed with how they did in my first little beginner garden. So, next Spring, when I take all I've learned from my practice garden and plant a real one, I will definitely be buying more of these little ladies. Excellent product. Highly recommended!

These cute little buggers went right to work!
I got my ladybugs yesterday. I was worried about them making it while in the mail but this seller is good! I wrote to him or her asking about it and they said at this time of year they speed up the shipping so these little guys make it to their new home faster and sure enough they did and they were OK. We released them and they were hungry and thirsty! They went to work right away on the afids (sp?) the white little bugs on my roses. It rained (POURED) about an hour after releasing them but they were still there munching away today. Thank you for a good experience!! For others who get them make sure you dont use chemicals before releasing them, and release them right away. They were hungry and thirsty. One was on my hand and I had a droplet of water on my hand from the rain earlier. This little lady bug went to the droplet and started drinking. I always loved Ladybugs. And they are saving my roses!! Update: I placed a 2nd order and had the same excellent experience. They all arrived alive and healthy. (Hungry and thirsty too!). We gently sprayed the flowers and released them and they went right to work. The misting of the flowers is important as they are very thirsty. This is a great seller!!!

These ladybugs love Thai basil!
I bought these ladybugs to control a heavy aphid infestation in my herbs and vegetables. 1) They arrived after a couple days in transit and seemed to be 100% alive. They were immediately active and headed right for water droplets for a drink (follow the instructions and mist the area before releasing). They didn’t fly at all on the first day. They just crawled up into the various plants and explored. 2) They are most active in the morning (from sunrise until just before noon). 3) After 3-4 days, I was still finding a lot of them. Sometimes I seem them flying from plant to plant, but mostly they are either nestled into a leaf or roaming the leaves and stems. 4) They seem to love Thai basil. There is an abundance that set up shop in the small leaves. There is a sweet basil plant right next to my Thai basil, but they don’t ever venture to that sweet basil. 5) Several days after release, I am still finding ladybugs on all of the plants (sage, rosemary, oregano, mint, tomatoes, strawberries, potatoes, and especially Thai basil. 6) I’m hoping that they will lay eggs to leave a new generation. Many have flown away, but enough stuck around that I think this could be a good solution for the aphids.

Great experience! Worth the shipping costs!
I don’t typically write reviews but this time I needed to make a comment. Ordered these little guys a few days ago with some trepidation. I live in South Texas and it’s already pretty warm. Had some real concerns that live bugs would cook by the time they arrived at my house. Nope! They arrived this afternoon, (earlier than expected, so watch for them) and I immediately brought them inside. Opened the box and pulled the mesh envelope containing the ladybugs out of the box. They immediately started running around inside the mesh. Took them outside and sprinkled them around my garden. I didn’t see a single dead one in the entire envelope! They were climbing around my plants from the minute I dumped them out. Super impressed! Fingers crossed that the aphids on my milkweed plants are on the ladybug menu.

Awesome!
Super easy to use, just open the container and set them loose. Best way to get rid of my aphid infestation long term imo. I’m definitely going to be placing a much larger order of a wider variety of bugs for my outdoor garden next year too

Not Worth It
Def not 300 and so many were dead. Disappointed.
