Monacor 8Ohm 100 WMAX 45 WRMS Hi-Fi Dome Tweeter

These speakers are designed to be a replacement for a number of well regarded vintage speakers including the Kef T27. It is not only the same size but mor important the same screw hole placement. So far so good, but what about the sound. The answer is they are very good with a wide dispersal of sound. The picture shows them fitted to my vintage LNB Paralab 20 speakers. If you have older speakers and need a 4inch tweeter I can strongly recommend them, they really do have a massive bang for the buck. Just make sure that you get the dt104/8 and not the 4 ohm version which would not be suited for vintage or most home speakers.

Pretty good replacements to bring floorstander speakers back to life Not sure about the Audiophile Credibility, but they sure seem to do the trick and look like they take a bit more power than the previous :)

These are good for the money but not as good as the pricier Number One tweeters also from Monacor. But they do the job well.

i need to replace the tweeters in my home built speakers the original are no longer made so i got these they sound good and match in with the woofer, they have been in use for a month or too there one thing that has to be done if they are in the same air space as the woofer and that is to seal the air gap between the magnet and mounting bezel, as this allows air to pass through the tweeter. once this was done they sounded even better

I installed these speakers some time ago to replace 20-year old tweeters. There was an instant improvement but I now report that, after about 500 to 1000 hours of "bedding in", the treble response has become really smooth and more responsive.

Good quality , better than the original, from the old Monitor Audio speakers.

Rebuild my old Dynatron speakers from the seventies, very pleased with the results in combination with the monacor 8" mid/bass and the Skytronic 2 Way Internal Speaker Crossover - 250W 8 Ohms 12dB all from Amazon.

I have to agree with the review by Nigel Lord about the open back on this tweeter causing distortion in a sealed cabinet speaker.

Clean and powerful sound on Akai AA-1050

Ne ho presi due, per sistemare una vecchia coppia di diffusori Pioneer di metà anni 80, dove c'era uno dei due tweeter che "suonava" come un midrange (le casse le ho avute in regalo dal primo proprietario). Il tweeter Monacor ha di fatto sistemato la situazione, adesso sento delle note che prima non sentivo, davvero un buon prodotto, mi sento di consigliarlo, occhio alla potenza massima sopportabile, io l'ho collegato ad un ampli Pioneer A-656 Mark II, da 65+65 watt rms su 8 Ohm, e regge bene.

Für meine Ohren eine sehr gute Verbesserungen zu den Alten Hochtönern . Auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.
