Helps me plan my energy strategy
Using this on various electrical appliances to check the units consumed and the cost. So far have been able to tailor my usage in a few weeks to save more money than this cost.. Well worth the outlay.

Decent
It's really helped knowing how much each electrical item costs. Only downside is that the LCD isn't lit and it's only a 2 tariff setup. However, it has saved me money knowing how much things cost. So, a great but all thing considered

It works
No issues, would be nice to have had a backlight, so have to use a torch because mine is in a dark place.

This will not give you the information it promises and its firmware is fundamentally flawed
There are at least 3 severe flaws with this unit. 1. When you want to monitor a different appliance there is no way of resetting the data without resetting the unit. Then you lose the clock setting and the tariff data which takes several minutes to enter for a dual tariff. 2. The cost and kWh "meter" /day or /year does not account for times when the appliance is off or running on standby etc. So anything thermostatically controlled would give very pessimistic figures. Also it's useless for something like a kettle, because it may only be on for 2 minutes at a time, but the meter assumes it's on continually. 3. The display is very faint when viewed at any angle above horizontal and has no back light which the manufacturer thinks is a virtue? This means that it will be difficult to read when plugged into a low socket. In summary, it's a useful device to measure instantaneous Voltage, Current, Watts, but unless your appliance is on constantly, the unit is useless for daily and annual consumption and cost analysis. I have returned the unit.

difficult to read the LCD screen if you have it plugged in at skirting level.
teh same as the RS one at circa £30 however there are options like the smart plugs now that do the same thing
