A very nice little amp
A very nice little amp. Clean it is a little quiet, but that is only to expected with on one watt of output power to play with. Despite that it's a must for budding Nigel Tufnels, as the volume goes all the way up to 12 ! Dial in a little overdrive (I found a setting of about 3 or 4 plenty), and it sounds considerably louder than it does clean. The tone control does exactly what it is supposed to. Turn it one way and it increases the bass, the other and it increases the treble. Personally I found dead centre sounded best. But there is certainly scope to make it sound more bass, or treble, if that's the sound you are looking for. As a practice amp that won't annoy the neighbours, it's perfect. Although if you are really worried about disturbing the neighbours, or parents, there is a 1/4" headphone jack. I'd also suggest investing in a 9v transformer to save on batteries.

Captures the character of a vintage Fender amp
Great looks and sound for such a tiny amp. Covered in actual tweed fabric, not plastic, so creates the look of the vintage Fender. Small enough to fit on a bookcase shelf, in front of books. The sound is nice and bright, using my Squire Telecaster and Stratocaster, and the sound is good even at low volumes. Just what I wanted.

Great little app, once you get it it to turn on
Annoyingly doesn’t come with any battery or 9v power supply - great little amp though

Nice looking but just to small
Dimensions given must be for the box it comes with, for it's much smaller than expected. Cables if not flexible cause it to move unless weighted down. Sound is reasonable.

Awful total junk and No power supply included
The item looks great it was delivered quickly, However there is no power cable and in the Listing It doesn't mention you need to buy your own power cable - So I now need to go out and spend approximately ten pound on a 9V power cable. UPDATE : This amplifier is absolute rubbish There is no clean tone sound whatsoever even at full volume nothing , The only way to get a sound from the amp is to turn the overdrive up. When you turn the overdrive up even a little the amplifier buzzes uncontrollably - The overdrive sound Is trully awful Nothing like the review videos on youtube. The only place this thing belongs is in the bin. POOR. 0/10

Better than expected
I wasn’t expecting much from this small lamp and thought it was a bit of a gimmick, but a nice present for someone who is learning with Guitar??, but didn’t have space for lots of kit. As the sound is brilliant. It comes with all the jacks and a power cable, also works off batteries. Recipient really happy with it and it’s taking it on holiday a couple of times.

Great amp at a great price!
Bought this as a gift for my brother and although the amp is quite a bit smaller than the dimensions given, it is still a cool looking amp with a pretty good sound. This was bought just as a practice amp and you would obviously not go gigging with it or anything but the sound is very impressive - full volume we found is too loud for indoor use so it's perfect for practice or playing with other people. I never bought the mains power plug with it and just used the 9v battery instead which seems to last well. Overall, it's a really good little amp that looks great!

Worse, the volume for the lower three strings is ...
Sent it back as it is only 1 watt. (cliams 3.5 n the description) the result is an even quieter divice than expected. Worse, the volume for the lower three strings is about half that of the top three because of the extra sensitivity to trebble and the almost complete lack of response to base. Worse, it starts to distort significantly once you are at 75% of volume. So while for £35 you should not expect more than tiny, you should be able to expect it to be reasonable quality (not), and expect it to have the advertised wattage (not).

Got for husband he is very happy

It says Fender. It sounds good for the size. It would be awesome if it wasn’t made of plastic…the cleans are nice, but the gain could be better. I think it’s priced a bit high.

I recently moved into an apartment building and with my schedule the only time I have to play guitar is at night. As it turns out my neighbors are not a fan of me cranking it up to 11 on my larger amp so I figured for 35 bucks why not pick up this little thing. Turns out that this little amp has an amazing sound, way better than a lot of larger more expensive "practice amps(5-25W)" out there. Also do not be fooled by its size you can get a lot of volume out of this thing and though I have nto tried it yet I think it could hold its own at a jam session assuming you have a gentle drummer in the room. Now that I have talked about how great it is I think a little overview of the controls is in order. On the top it has four knobs, one for volume one for tone, one for drive and one for on and off. If you are a gutarist you probably have already realised that it is pretty simple to use and with a few quick adjustments you can have great tone out of the box. Other than that my only gripe and it is not really a gripe is the handle that is billed as "real working" is actually very tiny but would work great if you are GI Joe To sum it up: Pros: Sound - better than amps 2-3 times its size and price. Volume - Works great at low volume to keep the neighbors happy but would be great for jam sessions too Size - Nice and tiny so easy to carry around Cons: The handle does not actually work Its small size means that if you are plugged in it tends to get dragged if you move around too much Doesn't come with its own power adapter(but it does come with a battery)
