Works with Bontrager Travel Charger + Topeak Shuttle Gauge Digital
Works perfectly with the smaller hose on the Bontrager Travel Charger. The built-in gauge on the Bontrager hose pump is super hard to read and crazy inaccurate, off by 10-20 psi at best. This Lezyne head has a screw on Schrader adapter, which works perfectly on the Topeak Shuttle Gauge Digital, which is very accurate.

Perfect
Works perfectly. Better material than the original valve I switched it out for.

Works great (after adapting for use on another pump)
I bought this Lezyne Unisex_Adult ABS-1 Pro Chuck Pump Head without learning it if is compatible with the hose on my ancient Joeblow floor pump. Leayne's description said "Compatible with high pressure floor air pumps". It was NOT compatible with my high-pressure Joeblow hose: the Lezyne red barrel connector required a hose of a smaller diameter. In "desperation" I tried a smaller (spare) Joeblow hose with its plastic barrel connector; I was able to get a snug, airtight connection, and - fortunately - the threads match, and the barbed connection is solid.I am thrilled with the operation of the Lezyne head! I find it easy to use and even less awkward than clamp-on heads. A modest drawback is that the pressure release function (a button on the head) will not reduce the air pressure in the tube; it is only designed to release the residue, pressurized air in the hose so the head can be easily unscrewed from the valve stem and to avoid yanking out some valve cores. If you need to lower the pressure in your tube, you will need to unscrew the head, use the valve stem to bleed the air, and pump back up to your desired pressure.

Finally a bike pump valve that screws on
High quality and one of the few valves for a bike pump that screws onto the tire valve, making it easy to pump a tire by yourself, including high pressure tires. No more fiddling with the rubber seal that never works right, no more air releasing as the hose pulls to the side, no more air release as you pull the valve off and no more banging your hands on the tire trying to pull it off quickly. It has a button to release the pressure in the hose before you take it off, so it unscrews easily and without releasing any air. All the details are right, including clear labels for the Presta and Schrader sides.A few things to know:- Not all pump hoses are the same size, some hoses are larger than this is expecting, but you can shave down the hose with a knife and get it to fit.- This valve does not push down the release on a presta valve, so if the tire is already near full pressure you have to push very hard at first to get a higher pressure than inside the tire.

Takes More Patience Than A Clamp-on
My clamp on pump chuck wore out, and a friend recommended this. It works well, and has an assuring pressure release valve, but I wasn't prepared for the time and tenacity this screw-on type takes compared to the clamp on type. If you're the kind of person who likes to get on your bike and get going without spending a lot of time getting ready, you won't like this. It takes some dexterity to correctly screw it on an off, so I am spending another minute or two when I'm pumping up my tires before a ride, as I always do.

Non-standard pump hose precludes universal use, Lenzyne only.
While the Lezyne abs-1 pro chuck looks well designed but for one main failure that precludes its use for standard pumps - the design does not allow fitting to standard industry pump tubing, only proprietary Lezyne pump tubing. The compression nut inner diameter spacing for 8.7mm OD pressure hose tubing, while industry standard Park Tool, Topeak use 9.8mm OD tubing. Another reviewer had to scrape / cut their standard pump tubing narrower to fit the compression nut.Response from Lenzyne:"While there are "common" sizes, there is no standard size of pump hose. We only design our parts to work with our products, and do not support modification or universal use."Interestingly the "Lezyne Abs Floor Pump Hose, Gold/Hi Gloss" states: "Compatible with all standard pressure floor pumps"

Fits other pumps!
I have a cheapy Blackburn pump from years ago and the pump head met its end. My pump works pretty decent so I took a gamble and bought this HV pump head. First, without opening the package, I found a bolt with a similar size as the end of the pump head. I forced the bolt into the open end of my Blackburn pump hose. It fit. So, I opened the package and tried the pump head. Nope. So, I used the tip of some pliers to stretch the hose (picture). Then I put a drop of hand soap on the new pump head...with some work I got it to go on. Now my old Blackburn has a sweet Lezyne pump head! And, this pump head is nice! It's slower to use than slip on / clamp on style of universal head... but there is a reason I replaced that head! The Lezyne screws on tight, has a bleed valve and even has a presta tool on the back of the head. NICE! If you are going to do the same thing, I'd estimate that if you can squeeze your hose on something 9mm or about 3/8 of an inch, you can use this Lezyne pump head.

It takes the valve core with it UNLESS you do this
Like one of the other reviews have said, it can take the Presta valve core with it, causing catastrophic failure. See my picture. I only used it once before, and then the second time this happened with a great explosion of air.To prevent this, you must use the black button to release some of the air stuck between areas of the device before starting to twist and remove.
