KONG - Refillables Beaver Catnip Toy - North American Premium Catnip, Cuddly Fabrics

My cat loves this toy. He wasn't so sure of the toy in the beginning with the included catnip. But once I changed that catnip for the catnip that I normally use for my boy, he absolutely loved it. He's attacking it, rubbing on it, trying to pull the squirrels tail out, but the toy is holding his viscous grip and not losing any of the tail!

My elderly cat (15) loves her new beaver toy! It's very cute and the perfect size for a mid-sized cat. She loves throwing it around and even cuddling with it while she naps. The catnip it comes with seems pretty good quality (according to how the cat reacts) and they include enough to last quite awhile. Though the toy is easy to fill, it's not the easiest to empty out as there are plenty of nooks and crannies for the catnip to get stuck in. I kind of wish there were satches instead of loose catnip (almost like tea bags?) but still very happy with my purchase.

I bought one for my older cat and she absolutely loved it. It is easy to refill and the catnip does seem to get a response off her. As with the majority of the KONGs products I have bought - this is one of her favourites. I even bought one for my partners cats - one younger cat and one older cat. They both adored playing with it and I would recommend purchasing this item.It is small but I think out of the hedgehog, turtle and the squirrel - that the squirrel seems to be the most loved due to its fluffy tail.

The media could not be loaded.  I have bought a number of catnip products over the last 2 years and each time the cat (2.5years) sniffs the toy and then ignores it - wow, not this one - she adores it and went mad with it for a solid 30 minutes before she was flaked out!!The toy is smaller than expected but this isn't a problem, it is similar in size to a mouse and very soft. The velcro is super strong and takes a careful teasing apart after which you can insert the attached catnip, and use a finger to poke it into the body void of the soft toy - simples. Put the velcro together and job done. This toy can be reused, simple by emptying out the catnip which can be hooked out by finger, tweezers or somethign else small.I am super impressed and can not fault it - my fur baby loves it

All the furry loveballs in my house adore KONG products, but Mr Squirrel is my boy's favourite. He's had him for 2.5 years, almost since I brought him home as a kitten. Mr Squirrel sure has stood the test of time and many a nibbling and paw thumping. In fact, he's become such a part of the family, that we've affectionately named him "Denzel". Once every 2 weeks we stuff Denzel with catnip and place him on the floor, ready for my boy to come along and whip him away for a frenzied cat-cuddle. Denzel is super easy to stuff. I just open the velcro tummy and shake away the old catnip, then refill with a couple of catnip pinches, close the velcro and voila! One happy and pleasantly sloshed cat! While the catnip that it comes with didn't last for long, I just went to Pets at Home and purchased a big tub, which is still going strong a year later. I think my boy loves the toy so much because it really seems real to him. Denzel has a very furry tail and when we're watching TV he can frequently be seen being transported in my furbaby's mouth across the living room to his special hidey place. Pudsey has other KONG toys of course, but for some reason only known to Pudsey this is his all time fav. If it makes my boy happy then I'm a happy fur-mum! Meanwhile our dog looks on with such disdain! For my dog, squirrels in the house are so last year, except when he sees them in the park, then it's a different story.

The media could not be loaded.  First off, the delivery to Ireland was incredibly fast(ordered in the evening and the next day at lunch time I had the package. Unfortunetly my cat isn’t impressed with this toy and the catnip had no effect on him, I gave him catnip in the past when he was still growing and he was affected by it.So far this is just any other toy being tossed once or twice and forgotten about, this could have been achieved with a 1£ toy , but this was over 7£, just like throwing money away.I had high expectations for this toy since we have a catnip bee from kong which is my cat’ s favorite toy.
