Cant do without it. Helps with your crossword and other word games. This purchase was to replace the same item which had an accidental crash.

Bought to replace an older one that died through old age! In regular use.Comprehensive. Other makes may have slightly bigger screens.Type more or less same size.

I bought this as a replacement for a superb one that my husband managed to knock a glass of wine over. We use it for The Times Crosswords and Codeword. It was not a good buy. Where do I begin? 1, The on/off button gets stuck under the casing and we have to ease it out with a fingernail or a spectacles screwdriver 2, It is far too small, making it awkward and fiddly to use. 3, The keys are too small for anyone over the age of about six. 4,There is a pathetically small number of words in it. The most common display reads "Sorry, can't help". Many ordinary words in common usage are not in it. 5, The anagrams function is poor All in all it is a useless piece of junk.

This item was just what I wanted but stopped working after a couple of weeks. I had one the same for about 4 years before which was perfect

Excellent product and service

Franklin DMQ221 Not quite what I expected. It came from USA and had a lot of USA spellings using z’s where we use s and the thesaurus doesn’t give many definitions. Have to resort to Google for answers sometimes.

Product easy to understand good r many uses

This is a good product however it stopped working after less than 1 year. I have no idea why. We put in a fresh Duracell battery too. Very disappointed. I had this growing up 30 years ago and that unit lasted decades. Build quality has decreased!

Easy to carry with word games for children.

The item finally arrived yesterday and is very satisfactory

Over all I have to say it works for what I bought it for. My grandson was using his tablet to look up the definition and spelling of words. But, when I wasn't in the room he gets side tracked with videos or ads that would pop up. Ironically, the dictionary he had doesn't always have an easy explanation for a second grader in defining words that they can understand. I have found that this is working great we've had it for about 2 weeks now. There are only 2 dislikes. 1) is the size; I wish it was a bit larger. On the box that the owner uses to advertise it You can see that it looks like a good size. You could see by the picture that it's not very big at all. 2) Is if it was black on white meaning the background in white and the writing in black. However, it's an older model so it's bluish black lettering on a green background. But it gives you the definition and it also has a thesaurus that works great as well. I would recommend it to anybody looking for a quick way to help when spelling and finding the meanings to words for first grade to adulthood.

コンパクトで軽く持ち運びには良いのですが、記述内容が簡素過ぎます。ちょっとした単語や熟語は調べられず、座右に置いて使うのには殆ど向かないと感じます。現在持っている同じFranklinの電子辞書は落として蓋の部分が壊れてしまったので、本品を買ったのですが、正直の処買わなければ良かったと反省しています。
