Tack, Moulding Lifter mini Crowbar Carpet Flooring Tool

We recently moved home and are having to replace all the carpets. Unfortunately, it looks like the carpet grippers were last replaced around the time the dinosaurs roamed the earth and so they needed to come out too. We have a crowbar but it was way too big to get under the wooden strips which appeared to be welded to the floor. I'm a disabled woman with not a lot of strength so I knew I had to buy something that would make my job easier. I did a lot of research and decided to give this a go and I'm so glad I did. It's still a tough job but it became 90% easier than using the big crowbar. I used the old crowbar as a fulcrum to give myself a little extra strength and it worked really well. I also found that it removes the old tacks stuck in the floor like butter. I had been using my claw hammer, but this worked so much better. It's made very well with no unexpected sharp edges and it's nice and easy to hold.

Firstly I loved the size of this--it will slip into any tool bag and is perfect for raising stair rods or similar tasks --- two would be even better--the v slot may need opening up a touch but that is nothing---GREAT LITTLE TOOL---simple but very effective---*****

I wondered if this would be good as it was so cheap but the reviews seemed to say so. We had loads of carpet gripper rods to get up. I can’t tell you how chuffed we were with this - made the job easy and I highly recommend this for the job. The other end made easy work of the embedded nails. Marvellous and a total bargain!!!

Good size and easy to handle. Very sturdy, used it to lift slabs and floorboards. Delivered in good time . Perfect for my needs as it fits in my toolbox
