Best NAS drives I own.
I have nine of these now for video and photo editing and archiving. I have never had one let me down, unlike the WD Red drives they are replacing.

Beware if you're buying the 10TB version for a Synology NAS
The 10TB version has write cache disabled when using in a Synology NAS. This means volume repair will take forever when using these to expand storage capacity. It's incredible that this is not disclosed moreso as Seagate is the recommended brand for Synology.

Packing bad
HDD is great, The packing not so much Box was about twice the size of the HDD with two soft eggs shell pads(foam) Then that box was in another box that 3 times bigger with no protection. I would imagine it was rattling around quite a bit. Not good for a fragile product

I have had a few of these. Generally they run fast, and are extremely reliable. I had one which failed, but, not instantly. It gave me lots of warning and so I never lost data. I would buy again.

Firstly the seller "Technology Titans" packing of the HDD was very good, the HDD was in a cardboard box with two slices of foam sandwiching the HDD safely. Coming to the product installed it into my NAS and got a speed of about 200-250 MB/s which good considering my NAS has dual 1 Gig Ethernet so it will be saturated. However it is noisy like pecking noise, if you are read to tolerate the noise then it is a good value for money.

ottima qualità e prezzo eccellente . ho fatto alcuni test e, i pro sono : è molto silenzioso, scalda pochissimo nonostante l'ho tenuto 6 ore di seguito per trasferirci i 7 tb dall'altro hardisk . i contro : non è molto veloce

Hors gamme pro, c'est ce qui se fait de mieux et en cas de panne, Seagate / Amazon remplace par retour de colis Attention : configuration, sécurisation et utilisation d'un NAS nécessite des connaissances informatique et réseau. Par défaut, un NAS "grand public" n'est pas sécurisé (on branche, ça marche)
