UPDATE: After posting my initial review, I reached out to the product support team. They were disappointed to learn that the initial units weren't the best of quality and dispatched replacements. These are much better - no frayed wires and I'm more comfortable using them. They mounted well to the monitor and they look good. Happy to recommend, particularly on the basis of the speedy support available.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I purchased two of the ABCidy 'under monitor' lights for a dual monitor setup. Working at home, as I guess many of us are, I found I was getting some eye strain due to the brightness of my monitors compared to the relative dullness surrounding them. I had hoped these might alleviate the issue, whilst also allowing for some RGB 'bling' during my very rare gaming sessions!The packaging was adequate though would have preferred to have not seen a plastic bag being used to wrap the product. The product itself was smaller than I had anticipated (admittedly, that's on me for not reading the product description fully!)I haven't attached these to the rear of the monitor quite yet. One slight issue is that the reverse of both my monitors is rather curved, and I'm not sure how straightforward it will be to get a decent mount. The included sticky pads will, I'm sure, be perfectly adequate at sticking it in place - the bar itself is quite light, so I don't imagine it'll need much to keep it in situ.The two main negatives that I can see are the overall build quality and the light output. Both are rather underwhelming. Firstly, the build quality - on both the units I ordered, the USB cable is rather loose in the fitting and, again in both, the internal wiring is somewhat exposed. It probably won't cause any issue, but does give concern about the possible longevity of these lights. Secondly, the light output is poor. Even with both set to white light, it doesn't really illuminate much behind the monitor.On the basis of the above, I'm not quite sure whether I'll keep them or return for a refund. Although they weren't terribly expensive, given what they did cost, I expected a bit better.

Although light throw and resulting effect very much depends upon backdrop which the RGB bar is set (I've found it far more effective at cascading light downward when used in smaller spaces or outwards towards a window when used in larger spaces), while not at all a gamer, evenings spent in front of the computer certainly become more enjoyable since purchase.Granted, in comparison to RGB bars designed for use with TVs, overall light throw of the RGB computer bar is nowhere near as impressive. However, used upon its own and set upon the sill of window facing computer, for example, it provides adequate illumination behind, also filling in 'dead spots' when employed alongside more powerful RGB bars that throw light in an opposing direction.As such, I'd consider the fully remote functioning RGB computer bar a modestly priced accompaniment towards achieving the optimum RGB set up.

Love this light, there’s lots of modes and colour variations to choose from & it was easy for me to fit to my monitor. Looks really good and adds a bit of colour to my workspace. Only reason I’ve put 4 stars is because it looks a little flickery to me. This is fine, but it would have been nicer if it was less so.

Really good little light, love all the different colour combinations and it works really well! Looks great around my setup.
