One of the best work out DVD's I have ever bought.
I am a fitness fanatic and am always on the look out for good work outs to do at home when I have some time spare. I bought this one about a year ago maybe and I am still using it now. This DVD is amazing.The good thing about the 10 minute solution DVD's is that they are separated into 5 10 minute workouts so even if you are pressed for time you can still pick one of the DVD sections and do that.This DVD is ideal for toning and I feel it caters for many levels of fitness. I started using this DVD when I was at a relatively low fitness level and boy did I feel the burn the first time I did this! Some may think this DVD sounds boring (who wants to spend 50 minutes doing squats, weights and crunches) but the instructer is one of the best motivaters I have seen and the time flies by. I noticed the results from this very quickly and now I am at a high level of fitness I find I can still encorporate this workout into my routine.I fell in love with this DVD from the off really, the instructer is really encouraging and supportive she just pushes you to finish the reps in the best way. She also introduces herself as a mother and a business woman so I figure many feel they can relate to her and admire her. I do however find her abs hugely intimidating.. when you buy the DVD and see the core workout you will see what I mean... this woman has a serious 6 pack (if your slim like me and don't want a six pack then don't do this work out more than 3 times a week, I did it for more than that for a couple of weeks and found I was also developing a very manly abdomen!).This is an overall winner for me, I still love this DVD and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

One of the best 10 Minute Solution DVD's out there :D
This Toning DVD Is Great!I've been doing it for some time now and I can see results, I feel stronger and healthier and I Really enjoy doing it!There are different work outs on the DVD to target tone different parts of your body. So you can play the DVD all the way though or choose to do them in any order you want, or just do one work out! :)The instructor on the DVD is brilliant I think, the talks you though each and every workout, where you should be feeling it work and it's very clear to see how and what she is doing so you can follow along :)She isn't one of those who makes silly noises or anything like that, she is professional but always smiling so you don't feel like your being beasted by an army officer, but you know you can have fun and still do a proper work out, that works! :)Note: I would suggest to anyone who hasn't done any exercise or is a beginner to it, to watch the dvd through and the intro before doing any of it, and just take it one step at a time, she even says in the works outs herself "If you need to put your leg down/stop for a second/few breaths that's fine, just come back and join me when your ready". Which I think is very good, as not many people on these dvd's offer that, they seem to have no emotion, but this is Very Good! and I always end up smiling after it and look forward to doing it again :)She also offers alternatives/ a bit of an easier way to do things, so I'd say this is suitable for Anyone! Beginner, Inbetween or Professional!Because they are 10 minute work outs it makes it seem less daunting and it goes very quickly.I feel it is one of the best 10 Minute Solution DVD's out there and I have a few.I's definitely recommend this to Anyone! :)

Not interesting enough to maintain my interest
I love the idea of 10 minute solutions dvds but you do have to do the workouts to get any results from them. I bought this one and the kick boxing dvd at the same time. I LOVED the kick boxing dvd (although found it hard) and found this one really dull in comparison so didn't do it at all. I then fell pregnant with my second child and didn't have the energy to do either. My daughter is now a year old and I still havent had the courage to do the kick boxing dvd again (despite it being 10 miinute sections you need to shower after even 1 section which kind of negates the benefit!). I did however, do the target toning one for a while but it is a little dull so I haven't kept it up. Be warned, if you have a tendency to find excuses to not do exercise dvd's you may not do this one either. I definitely used this dvd more than other exercise dvds though. Its a very calm quiet type of exercising and unlike the kickboxing you can fit in 10 mins without needing to change clothes/have a shower! I am trying to justify buying yet another 10 min solutions dvd but I fear I may end up not doing it. HOpefully I can find one that is a little more interesting that this one.

Hooked onto this
Good explanations and uncomplicated moves make this DVD a good choice not just for beginners but also for those of us who have followed fitness regimes in the past. The moves are not convoluted (the instructor makes them appear too easy!) and this makes all the difference in making you feel comfortable about doing the workout again. But don't be deceived - your muscles WILL be targeted!The instructor is good: she doesn't say anything superfluous and keeps giving helpful reminders to ensure that you have exactly the right posture and are targeting the correct muscles. The exercises don't tax your body too much to begin with so it doesn't put you off, but you do break into a good sweat. (While this is by no means an intense cardio workout, it does raise your heartbeat moderately.) When your muscles get used to the exercises and you go deeper into the moves, you will really feel yourself working!After doing 3 back-to-back routines on this DVD once or twice a week for a couple of months, I have now understood exactly which muscles to target and am using it 3 times a week. I am loving it and am certainly looking trimmer: sagging flesh is lifting and waistline is shrinking.Added benefit: I had become overweight during my pregnancy and my knees were hurting from climbing stairs with baby on hip. The thighs exercises have strengthened my muscles so my knees no longer ache.

Simple and effective
I am pleased with this dvd aimed at toning for beginners. It does exactly what it says. The instructor Cindy Whitmarsh is very motivating and clear in her instructions. She has become one of my favorite workout instructors. Definitely recommend this product with 5 stars.

Wenn wenig Zeit ist ...
Grundsätzlich muss ich sagen, dass ich die Idee von Kurzprogrammen sehr gut finde, weil man auf diese Weise auch wenn man wenig Zeit zur Verfügung hat etwas für seinen Körper tun kann. Und es fällt meiner Meinung nach auch leichter sich für 10 Minuten - wie bei diesen Kurzprogrammen - voll zu konzentrieren und zu motivieren als für 50 oder 60 Minuten.Diese DVD umfasst fünf Kurzprogramme à 10 Minuten, die sich jeweils einer bestimmten Körperregion (Arme, Bauch, Po, Beine) bzw. dem Stretching widmen.* Arme: man benötigt ein Hantelset und eine Matte, weil die Übungen zum Teil im Stehen und zum Teil am Boden ausgeführt werden; ich muss sagen, dass ich die Übungen im Vergleich zu anderen DVDs nur mäßig effektiv und teilweise auch ein wenig umständlich finde* Bauch: man benötigt eine Matte; das Kurzprogramm beinhaltet einige gute und effektive Übungen für die obere, untere und seitliche Bauchmuskulatur; leider stellen sich bei mir in der zweiten Hälfte des Programms immer wieder Nackenschmerzen ein (ich kann nicht sagen, ob das an den Übungen oder an der Trainingspause von etwa einem halben Jahr liegt, vielleicht führe ich die Übungen auch nicht ganz richtig aus)* Po: man benötigt eine Matte, da die Übungen in der ersten Hälfte des Programms im Stehen und in der zweiten Hälfte am Boden praktiziert werden; das Programm enthält meiner Meinung nach viele gute und effektive Übungen für diese Problemzone; dieses Kurzprogramm bietet einen guten Überblick bzw. eine gute Einführung was Po-Übungen anbelangt* Beine: das ganze Programm wird im Stehen absolviert - man benötigt keine Hilfsmittel; auch hier sind die Übungen soweit ich das beurteilen kann durchaus effektiv; auch hier sind viele herkömmliche/grundlegende Übungen enthalten, sodass man einen guten Einblick bekommtZum Stretchingprogramm kann ich nichts sagen, weil ich diesen Teil noch nicht ausprobiert habe. Komplette Workouts (egal ob Bauch-Beine-Po oder Aerobic) enthalten immer einen eigenen Stretching-Teil und von diversen DVDs sind mir ausreichend Dehnübungen bekannt, sodass dieses Kurzprogramm für mich wenig interessant ist.Die Anweisungen erfolgen zwar auf Englisch, aber sie sind trotzdem relativ gut zu verstehen. Es wird auch immer wieder mal auf die richtige Haltung, Atmung bzw. Ausführung hingewiesen.Ich würde sagen, dass die Übungen zwar effektiv, aber nicht allzu anstrengend sind, sodass dieses Programm eher etwas für Anfänger ist (ein blutiger Anfänger schafft am Anfang vielleicht nicht immer alle Wiederholungen, bei regelmäßigem Training wird sich das aber schnell ändern).
