Delicious, absorbable and great value
Delicious, better than coffee shop quality, super absorbable (I was worried it wouldn’t be and I’d need to whisk it for ages - nope, absorbs well if you stir with teaspoon), not too sweet, tastes delicious and great value.

has a distinct taste that is described as earthy and slightly bitter
As a customer who has used the Matcha Green Tea Powder from Peak Supps, I'd like to provide a review outlining the good and bad aspects of this product. The good: 1. Quality Ingredients: The Matcha Green Tea Powder is made from high-quality green tea leaves, which are carefully stone-ground into a fine powder. This ensures that you are getting a premium product with the full benefits of matcha. 2. Rich in Antioxidants: Matcha is known for its high antioxidant content, which can help protect the body against free radicals and oxidative stress. Consuming matcha regularly may contribute to overall health and well-being. 3. Versatile Use: The powder can be used in various ways, including making traditional matcha tea, adding it to smoothies, or incorporating it into baked goods and desserts. This versatility allows you to enjoy matcha in different forms to suit your preferences. The bad: 1. Packaging Variations: The packaging of the product may vary, which could lead to confusion or dissatisfaction if you have a specific preference or expectation. It's important to be aware that the packaging may not always match the product images provided. 2. Taste Profile: Matcha has a distinct taste that is described as earthy and slightly bitter. While many people enjoy this flavor, it may not be to everyone's liking. If you are new to matcha or have a sensitive palate, you may need to adjust to the taste. In summary, the Matcha Green Tea Powder from Peak Supps offers a high-quality product rich in antioxidants. It provides versatility in its use and can be incorporated into various recipes. However, there may be variations in packaging, and the taste of matcha may require some adjustment for individuals who are not accustomed to it. Overall, if you appreciate the health benefits of matcha and enjoy its unique flavor, this product is worth considering for your matcha needs.

Very bitter but cheap
This is a very cheap bitter matcha, dull green in colour and probably a low grade from the appearance and taste, but it is very cheap and probably the cheapest matcha I have ever encountered. You can get big packs of it as well, but it extraordinarily bitter tasting and difficult to drink on it's own. I normally love matcha and drink it on it's own without milk or sugar, but with this I had to make it into a latte and add sweetener to tolerate it. It's probably better suited towards desserts, smoothies and sweet drinks than on it's own the traditional way.

Super rich in flavour, colour and consistency! Amazing!
Note: this pictures were taken when I've added Maca root powder in it already & the picture anyway doesn't do it justice, it was much much greener 👌 Absolutely amazing, I compare this with Japanese powder I've had before this one and this is absolutely no brainer the better one of those 2! It's richer in its colour (which is also brighter), taste, consistency and foams beautifully ! I've recently stopped drinking coffee after years of being coffee person because I figured it was making me feel ill and down. I now use this + Maca root powder (helps me with hormonal balance+ sugar balance+ mood) I add heaped tea spoon of each into bigger mug (or protein shake) fill in with about 2/3 (two thirds) hot (not boiling) water, mix with little electric stick frother and add lactose free milk to add up to fill the remaining 1/3 (one third). It gives me much better and more stable energy throughout the day compare to classic coffee and doesn't make me feel sick or down. This is absolute must in my routine now and this brand does it well. I've had some other products from PeakSupps before and always ended up being satisfied, so here we go, this is another win win for me, good job guys from PeakS. !! Please keep the quality & price the same going forward because this is why you stand out compare to other brands/sellers! 🥰

Seems OK, time and comparison to other products will tell..
OK. For those who say it tastes and smells fishy and bitter - my first cup did smell a bit fishy but that is because I used freshly boiled water. After a quick Google I discovered that matcha should be made with water 80°c or lower! So I made a 2nd cup with the kettle water that had by then cooled quite a bit. And used a little less matcha powder..... Well, what a difference. The powder suspended into the liquid much more easily, fishy smell n taste was gone and much less sludge at bottom of cup .. I would suggest stirring it whilst drinking or I might invest in the proper bamboo whisk as that's designed to help suspend the matcha power in the water as matcha isn't supposed to fully dissolve .. and this product is not sheer - its very opaque - I'm not entirely sure how opaque match is supposed to be - if someone experienced with matcha could please advise me? As for the packaging - WHY is there such a HUGE bag for the matcha when the contents fill only just under 1/3 of the packaging?? I've included photos to show this .. packaging design is wasteful and takes up more space than is needed .. I now need to purchase a suitable container to store the matcha in. Overall though pretty pleased with my purchase - first ever time trying matcha - I will purchase a superior grade matcha sometime in future though to compare the quality to see if this product is really as much of a bargain as claimed ..

Deeply Disappointed – Not What Matcha Should Be
I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience with this product as it was, quite frankly, one of the most unpleasant matcha powders I’ve ever tried. From the very first sip, I could tell something was off. Matcha should be smooth, rich, and subtly grassy with a creamy, almost umami depth. Unfortunately, this tasted nothing like that. Instead, it had a harsh, acidic edge that was both sharp and bitter — completely unpalatable. The flavour was so off-putting that I struggled to finish even a small amount. Worse still, the unpleasant taste lingered in my mouth for hours afterwards, no matter what I did to cleanse my palate. It was honestly like drinking something that had gone off or had been contaminated. I had high hopes, but this was a complete letdown. I’ve tried many matcha powders over the years, from ceremonial grade to culinary, and this one doesn’t even qualify as drinkable in my opinion. It’s not just a matter of taste preference — something about it tasted wrong and borderline stale or "petrified," as strange as that sounds. Packaging-wise, I was equally frustrated. The bag is unnecessarily large for the amount of product provided. It's a 250g portion in a pack that could easily fit double that amount. As a result, I had to reach deep into the packet to get the powder, and each time my hand ended up covered in matcha. Not exactly the cleanest or most user-friendly design. There was also no measuring spoon or scoop included, which would’ve been helpful and is a standard inclusion with many other brands. In the end, I threw the whole bag away after one use. I couldn’t bring myself to keep it, let alone drink it again. It’s a shame because I was genuinely excited to try a new brand and perhaps find a hidden gem — but this was the opposite. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you're after quality matcha. This one not only missed the mark but made me question how it passed quality control at all.
