Game changer for my workplace!!
Auto tech here..and one with a LOT of headlamps. I've tried most all of them, but this light stands out. I've had other brands that have separate battery compartments on the back, and the wires break, eventually. With this light, that is not a problem. It's a small detail, but if you use a headlight for hours, every single work day, like I do, it is a problem. When my other light broke, and had to be sent away, I remembered that I had a Armytek Wizard first generation quite some time ago. Well, enter the C2 Pro Max! With a 21700 battery, and their latest tech, and the extreme FLOODY light that is actually USEFUL, this thing is a BEAST! The amount of light this puts out has to be seen in person! And not just how BRIGHT...but how USEFUL and WIDE! This thing, on turbo 1 setting will put out enough light to illuminate an entire interior dash area, super bright, the entire thing, for hours. As I get older, I appreciate well lit work areas, and this light excels at that. I find it light on the head (yeah, slightly front heavy, but the strap does a good job), almost forget I'm wearing it, and I have all the light I need for hours before having to change the battery, or charge it overnight. I do not use the overnight charger, to be honest, it seems kind of hit or miss, I use extra 21700 batteries that I keep charged and ready. The U.I. Yeah, it's kinda tricky. You have to take some time to learn it, if you are new. There are several YouTube videos that are quite helpful with this. Once you have the concept of twisting the tail cap for some settings, it's not bad, really. I am so happy with this light, I'm seriously considering a second for hand held use as well. Absolute game changer for me!

Great flashlight, but Far more complicated than it needs to be
First off, I think this is a GREAT flashlight. Super bright, great battery life, and durable. I find myself using it frequently for home projects and when I’m working on my vehicles. What is perplexing is the fact That the designers felt the need to incorporate so many “modes” into the light that almost requires a reference card to know the sequence of button-pushes and cap-turns required to get the amount of light you need. If the light had a separate “brightness “ switch, or dial on the housing of the light it would be far easier to use, without sacrificing the great quality.

MELTED down
The magnetic charger melted down and and I could never charge it again. Since the charger is propriety you can only get it through ArmyTek. I wrote to them asking to buy a charger but they sent back a link where I have to jump through a bunch of hoops on a warrantee website. As far as I am concerned I just lost over $100 dollars on this piece of junk. Don’t buy this.

Armytek makes the best lamps.
The lumen output is fairly impressive. But Im finding my other Wizard C2 WR my go to light still. You are not going to percieve a significantly higher amount of light output of Pro Max compared to the C2 WR if lumen output is what you are after. The longevity of the larger battery is what really comes into play here.I still love this light, but personally for work I prefer the slightly smaller form factor of the C2 WR and the option to use a red bulb if I dont want to dilate my eyes or attract bugs. The wizard series has been amazing.
