De Atramentis Document Ink-Black 45 ml fountain pen bottled ink

I’m a big fan of carbon black, but it tends to gum up some of my pens so I switched to this and it’s fantastic. It does take a little longer to dry so chill but I love the bold line at produces. I use it in a water brush as a wash as well.

This is authentic De Atramentis Document ink. See attached letter. Plan to use for line and wash. So far, I like it for writing and as an ink for my new fountain pen! Used it with some minor wash (see picture) and it bled a little but I didn’t wait to make sure it was set. The scribbles above were set and no bleed! Since purchasing, I have used in pen&ink drawings and simple thank you cards. Ink does not bleed. It is so smooth in my fountain pen and does not clog it! It is excellent! I highly recommend!

I use De Atramentis Document Ink for all of my ink and watercolor illustrations. Fast drying time and waterproof—I can sketch with it and then add watercolor over it right after. Works great in my fountain pen. Nice dark ink and crisp line quality. Great seller and customer service! Would definitely recommend!

Hi my product came on the 27 but its a nice ink give the ink a week or so to arrive for they may be busy filling orders any how its a nice ink i like it and i dont like how it didnt come in the container as showen but i do like howit came in a glass ink well over all i cant really complain . i guess this is the part were i say thank you oh so much thank you thank you thank you many personal thanks

This ink is the real deal for those who want permanent ink. I use it in urban sketching and it works. This seller also sent it well protected - not my experience when ordering ink from a different seller. I will order from this company again.

I've tried a couple black inks and I think this one is by far my favorite. It's really just a black ink with no other undertones. Price is pretty fair for the bottle!

I am totally in love with this ink and it is my new and absolute favorite. It is perfect to use in fountain pens whether for writing or for use in conjunction with line work and watercolor or ink washes. It dries quickly and does not smear or smudge on any of the papers I use in journaling, art journaling, or letter-writing once dry. It does not run when washed over once dry. The black is rich and flows well from nibs, brush tips. I am very pleased with this ink!

Just to clarify........ this is fountain pen ink exactly as the photo depicts, not a printer cartridge, it is the document black ink which dried quickly and is waterproof. Delivery was speedy, packaged well and I'm very happy with the service, would buy from here again.

Che bell'inchiostro! Ha una fluidità eccezionale. Il punta sulla carta scorre molto morbida, il nero è abbastanza scuro ma c'è anche un piccolissimo margine per vedere un accenno di shading. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi vuole un inchiostro permanente e resistente all'acqua. Lo uso per disegnare e mi trovo benissimo, ad applicare velature di acquerello dopo aver fatto il disegno.

This is nice ink but not in any way waterproof which is the reason I bought it after careful research. Don't buy it if that's what you are looking for.
