Perfect Match For Dominator Seat
I like the seat so much I bought the matching backrest and am glad I did. Makes the comfy seat even more so. Fore and aft adjustment is a little cumbersome and requires a 10mm wrench (there’s a lock nut and thumb screw to manipulate). Build quality is excellent and there’s even a small storage pouch on the back of the backrest that will hold sunglasses, keys, wallet, or other smaller items. Very handy. Only odd part is the bolts used on the two hinged joints are metric (10mm) and the nuts are SAE (5/16”) - no big deal, just odd. At any rate, a quality addition to a quality seat.

Available post lengths
The quality, comfort and price point are great. Customer service may be lacking – I have tried numerous times to order a longer seat post for this back rest so it can be used in conjunction with the passenger Pillon and so far have not been successful.

Saddleman back rest
When ordering the font and rear seats together with the back rest, you’d think they would give you the long arm back rest, not the short one. But the quality, fit and finish are great.

latching and riding position
The dominator seat itself pushes you a bit forward, a bit too much for my liking, but tolerable at 5'11". When combined with the backrest though, which I was looking very forward to getting, it makes the seat far more comfortable, but pushes me so far forward that I am basically sitting on the front of the gas tank....I have maybe 2 inches of clearance. I wouldn't want to do a long run with this, so far I find the seat more comfortable, but the riding position is FAR less comfortable, it just pushes me too far forward. I think it would work great for people a few inches shorter than me though. On top of that, I knew it was simply a slide in bracket, but I expected there to be some way to actually secure it to the seat, but it doesnt. My son that rides with me is on the spectrum, and he will just pull this thing out over and over once he discovers it. Outside of that, it makes me a bit uncomfortable knowing I could pretty much flick this seat on the bottom and it can come out...it literally takes no effort (if you install it backwards, it wont connect to anything at all, so you will know....but it doesnt "latch on" to anything anyways.
