We had held off on getting a baby monitor as they always seemed so expensive, however, as my 3 month old starts to sleep a lot better at night now, I wanted one so I have a chance to go back downstairs once he's down for the night. My husband saw this, and knew that I'd love it just for the flower and the bee alone. The video quality is great for the price, and the audio from the music is great as well. Everyone loves the flower glowing as a nightlight. The ambient noises don't loop well, but we can use other devices for that. The motion detection is VERY sensitive, so we have to set it to the lowest. We aren't sure how accurate the temperature detection is, but we also have low airflow around the sensor just due to the room setup. We had some initial issues with setting it up, but they were quickly resolved in under 5 minutes, using our phones as the monitors. Overall, the standalone camera is an INCREDIBLE deal for the price, and it's also WAY cuter than anything you'll find in stores.

Overall we love this camera. Measures temperature of the room, has a nightlight which you can turn off without turning the camera off, and has a pretty good viewing angle. I do hate that you can't move the camera lens handsfree, BUT it's so convenient to be able to add on the app and not have to finagle moving cameras room to room when baby is playing in one room and sleeping in another. I would also love to be able to add another camera to the portable monitor that comes with other vtech models but again, not a big deal since I more often than not have my phone on me.

It's very cute and all but unfortunately will not pair to the app, keeps saying it won't connect to the WiFi and I've made sure to connect it to the 2.4ghz WiFi, and still won't connect. I returned it.

Have to admit it looks like a cheap flower. Kind of ugly in its own way. But it works great. Used in the kitchen at night so I could keep an eye on are dogs. Wanted to know who was the thief between the to pups. Picture was very good for a cheap camera. Having a night light was a plus.

I don't typically write reviews but after all the struggle, I finally solve the monitor connection issue. You can watch the Youtube Video (search bellow) or follow these steps to get the camera to connect to the monitor. FYI, you can also connect multiple monitors to one camera. 1: Follow the handbook instructions and connect the daisy camera to the "VTech Baby App". 2: Open the camera settings (gear icons next to the name) on the mobile app. 3: Scroll down the menu and click on "Camera Information" 4: Check the "Main Firmware" value, it should be "2.0.0.8" or higher 5: If the value is less, then the "Main Firmware" need to be updated 6: Unplug and plug back the camera, leave it on and connected to WiFi overnight. 7: It should automatically update Firmware in the morning. 8: Check "Main Firmware" value and verify it's "2.0.0.8" or higher. 9: Now you can follow the steps on the screen of the monitor to connect the camera. 10: Enjoy your baby! Works well for traveling with a little one. Connects easily to wifi but you do have to reset the camera every time it gets unplugged and reload it on the app. Sound quality is good. Video can sometimes be fuzzy at larger than a couple foot distances.

Absolutely the best camera, especially at this price point. I bought this to replace an Owlet Cam (version 1) that we had because we wanted something that could be viewed from our phones or a dedicated monitor screen, which I will do a separate review for. This camera has more features than our owlet cam and is the cutest thing around. It plays music, records video, has a night light, just to name a few. Don’t waste to ur money on more expensive cameras, I’ve had them and this one is my favorite. The Vtech app is actually pretty good too
