For 18 months or so I've been learning lots of new songs on my ukulele. In the process, I've accumulated around 100 sheets of song/chord sheets. I had previously held them in a standard ring-binder, which I mounted on my music stand. However, I found that with all that page-turning, the plastic punched pockets started to tear, and some of them hung precariously from the folder. So, in anger, I decided to do something about it! 😡All I really wanted was a soft-cover folder, with permanently fixed clear plastic pockets, held in place almost like the pages within a book. I must mention that I spent ages trawling through Amazon trying to locate something that met with my exacting standards. I did find dedicated music folders, but they tended to be expensive and/or only contained 30/40 pages. I eventually came across this Q-Connect Presentation Book, and I'm a very happy bunny - because it suits my needs perfectly! Why? Well, because it's nicely made, and it contains 60 sheets - meaning it'll hold 120 back-to-back A4 sheets. The front cover will also accommodate an A4 sheet - so you can slide into it a design of your choice, to give it a personalised touch (please see my photos). I think this presentation book is an excellent choice for school/college/work projects. In addition, it's an inexpensive way of storing and displaying your song/music sheets. Given the practicality and quality of this Q-Connect product, and it's very reasonable price tag, I think this represents very good value. Without hesitation, I would recommend this book/file. I attend life drawing classes each week and I generally end up with five or six A4 size drawings that I want to file away. The paper I use is a heavyweight cartridge paper (170gsm) as opposed to copier paper (80 or 90 gsm) and I wanted a decent folder to store and protect my artwork. I started off with an Artsafe A4 Presenter folder which is very good but only contains 20 polypropylene pages allowing me to store 40 pictures. Under ten weeks worth and it’s all over.So I purchased an Exacompta 100 Pocket Display Book but that was no good at all. It held 200 pictures but not paper at the thickness I use and the book itself could not be shut. I also noted that all the pockets were fixed centrally on the spine which really stretched the outside ones and I couldn’t shut the thing correctly. I think it will take one sheet of copier paper per pocket but that’s it. Apart from that there wasn’t any allowance for a spine label or a front cover sheet to be shown.My next try was the Q Connect 60-Pocket Presentation Book. Success at last. It had the thickness to take the cartridge paper and also had the ability to have a spine label and a front sheet slotted in. The 60 pages allow for 120 pictures and they are fixed to the spine in three groups of 20, avoiding any overstretch. I also think they are slightly larger than A4 making it easy to get the pictures in and not stretching the pocket edges. I love the quality and I intend continuing with this make for the foreseeable future. Top marks for a great product.

Thanks to Prime, delivered the day after ordering. This is more expensive than some presentation books, but it has 60 pockets, unlike others that have 30 or 40. The outer cover is a stiff but flexible plastic with a pocket to allow you to add an A4 title page. The spine can also have a cut down sheet of A4 installed. The pockets themselves are not the cheap wrinkly ones you get in some others. They are almost perfectly clear and it is easy to read whatever is on the sheets you put inside. Each 20 pages are seperately attached to the spine, and this allows it to stay open at any page you choose. Mostly I used two sheets of A4 in each pocket, but some had 12 page presentations in which did fit snugly. At no point did I suffer with the tops of pages sticking out of the folder, or feel that aynthing in it was likely to fall out. For me, it was definitely worth paying the extra over a cheaper, inferior one

Previous purchases of this brand's presentation folders were solely those of the highest capacities (120 leaves or more) and which have hard covers rather than the soft ones in this capacity and smaller. Those of medium capacities (40-60 leaves) were mostly from several other brands, ordered at various times and according to specific needs at that instance.This is to contain collected recipes obtained from various web sites and which were previously used or could be at a later date.The leaves are quite thin but very strong. As is common, the leaves need to be prised apart as they are subject to 'stiction' in order for the papers to be inserted. Once released, the leaves remain open indefinitely. Quality of the brand's products is always high.

You do get what you pay for so I've mainly taken a star off because there's other listings for the same product for half the price, so somewhat feel overcharged.It is very very flimsy and has absolutely no rigidity about it, but for the price that seems fair.

Easy to use and just what I wanted

This is a very nice presentation book. The pages are well fastened in and neat looking. I had over 100 pages and they filled the book in a very tidy manner. However - a word of warning if you are a U.S. resident - the page size is slightly different - not 8and half by eleven, but eight and half by almost 12, so I had a strip of clear plastic along the side of each page. Would like to know - does UK use a different standard letter size than we do? (Page size was not mentioned in the advertising). I still thought it looked great when filled. Not sure why I couldn't find a U.S. equivalent.....

This is a great product and turned up better than I thought. Even though the reviews were good anyway.I wanted to put important papers into this and make sure I could still read the info through it. Well, I can tell you that it's near enough crystal clear and you can also put one paper into the front cover, so you can have a nice picture or labeled document on the front to tell you what the folder contains.Well worth every penny. You can also add another slot into the binder too. It's all customizable lol.
