Is the pencil lead break resistant?

No. I have not noticed a difference with lead breaking. Some of these pencils use 0.7 lead and some are 0.5 lead. The 0.7 break less of course. Also, keeping the writing tip small helps.

How to refill it as it has no opening?

Hi, you can remove the eraser refills on the pencil cap, and drop the lead into the pencil cylinder. We recommend that you put into 1-2 pcs refills at a time.
