If you have never seen this magnificent story and fantastic treatment, by all means order it today. I have several copies and share them with others, who love the basic story and buy their own copy,,. The Australians never let us down on drama and drive. Never a dull moment. However, for some unfathomable reason, they REFUSE to offer subtitles, even on the basic story, Folks, this is drama at its best. If you or stone deaf, as I am, or otherwise hearing impaired, just know that it is well worth the money, bujt you will suffer not knowing elemen ts of the dialogue that weill haunt you.

I first saw the mini-series years ago but it was never available on dvd for the U.S. I was so excited when I noticed that the mini-series as well as a TV series was available for my region. The video quality is great and the series is the type of drama similar to Dallas and Dynasty.

Excellent value! received the movie and tv series as promised in a sealed case and once I opened it ... it came so neatly pristine, new, all in organized dvd slips! I already finished watching the tv movie and the quality is true to the time! it couldn't get any better than this! thank you Seller for sending it very quickly to Me within 4 days from N.Y and I'm in CA! way ahead of schedule! All in English and Plays on my PC no problem (VLC) .... I have not played it on a DVD Player yet, but I expect no issues! See the (2) Photos I posted!

I had seen the original mini-series on TV a long time ago and wanted to buy it but it was not available on a disc that would play in the US. I was pleasantly surprised that the TV series held up to the original although the fashions of the 80s certainly dates it. There are so many twists and turns in the TV series one never gets bored although some of them are predictable. One never knows who is the bad one and one or if someone has taken a turn to the opposite of before. It is still as entertaining as before. The quality of the discs are as expected from an old movie/TV series but quite good. I know I will play this over and over.

DVD is in good condition. A little to soap opera for my taste.

We bought this for my 73 year old mom who watched and enjoyed this mini series back in the 1980's. She was so surprised to get it and at first, she didn't remember much about it. But now she has watched the entire series and she said she absolutely loved it. It all came back to her. She says the funniest part was seeing the 1980's fashions. We live in USA and she has a Blue Ray/DVD player. It worked perfect for her.

I used to watch this series as a teenager with my whole family every week. Love the story and now I can watch it as many times as I want.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching the series

I was very happy to see these DVDs being available in Region 1 (finally!). The quality is nice, but it's a '80s series, so forget the HD. The only real complaint is the fact there is no subtitles, which would have improved the overall quality. But if you were a fan of the series, it's a very good bargain, considering the price.

I really enjoyed this show back in the 80's when it first came out. This has been great to watch. DVD's are all in good condition.

Glad I was able to find this enjoyable series from way back in the 80's. Fun to rewatch.
