Bees & Wasps (Usborne Beginners) Hardcover – 1 Mar. 2013

As an ex military Veteran with years of various treatments ahead, I decided that Bee keeping was for me and I now have joint care of 7 hives, with Buckfast Bees. These books were instrumental in my being able to get into this hobby quickly and with a little confidence. The book contains enough information to get you started and enough experience to keep you going. An amazingly brilliant little insect that is so important in our lives.

Very nicely presented book about bees and wasps. I learnt a few things myself, too. Talks about the different varieities and the way they mske honey and also live and die. Good book for science too.

Brought for a school project for an 8 year old. Easy for him to read and bright photos to keep his interest

This book is a welcome addition to our Usborne Beginners collection. Very informative books, but in a very easy to understand way for little ones. All the basic facts you need to know about bees and wasps that will stay in their heads without being overly complicated.

Bought for two sets of grandchildren and given with some lovely honeycombs so each had their own honey: perfect gift combination.

Really great book that satisfied 4 year olds twins thirst for knowledge after an unfortunate stinging incident

My grandson loved this, although some of it was too old for him. It is the sort of book you keep and refer to as the child's questions change and mature.
