Bosch Aerotwin AR 26 U Front Windscreen Wiper, 1 Blade, 650 mm

I have never changed any of my Car wiper blades in my life. It normally gets done by the mechanics each year whenever I have an MOT, but the latest wipers that were installed didn't manage to last the 12 months and they fell to pieces, meaning I had to replace them myself! I was dreading it as I wasn't sure about the size I would need, which side the wipers go on, how to remove the existing wiper and install the new one. In the end I watched a Youtube video and got a general idea of the removal and installation process from there and Amazon was able to confirm that this wiper would fit on my car which made the process really easy. This particular wiper fitted the Driver side of my Nissan Qashqai. Taking off the existing wipers was a struggle, but putting on the new Bosch wipers was an incredibly easy process. It literally just slides onto the wipers U hook, clicks into place and is then secured with a built in flip cap. The new wipers made me realise how bad the older wipers were. The old ones always squeaked even when newly installed and they were ok at clearing the windscreen but I could never really see clearly through the windscreen whilst they were in action. I thought this was normal though. The difference with the new wipers is like night and day! The windscreen is so clear now with these Bosch wipers and there is literally no noise!! I can't believe they have made such a difference but i'm really happy I got these. When I initially opened the Bosch wipers I did have a really bad first impression of them, they seemed really flimsy and floppy and I always though wipers were meant to be rigid, but after installation and seeing them in use i'm really impressed and can say that these are definitely value for money. They were so cheap at just over £10! Im hoping they at least last the year and if they do i'll be back to update my review.

I have owned cars for last couple of decades and have bought and used many windscreen wipers for many different make and models. Bosch has always been my go to brand for trust, reliability and quality of wipers. This item was no difference, easy to install and fits perfectly for my car. It clears the water really well leaving the windscreen clean and tidy without leaving any streaks and smudges. It is very silent and you won’t hear the noise like you would from some cheap brands. Power Protection Plus means enhnaced performance throughout the blade's service life, to help you save money. Installation is very simple and it does come with instruction however, you can also consult your vehicle manufacturers book as well.

Easiest set of wipers to fit that I have ever used. Good value when compared to other sellers.

This is a safety and prudence general comment on wiper blades of this design. If your car OEM blades were not the same mechanical principle / geometry as this Aerotwin (and their ilk) you might find that this design works very well for your setup to clear the windscreen....but...try this at high speed in heavy rain - you may discover that they crash - bang occasionally to the windscreen side at high freq + velocity. This depends on the bonnet (mainly top pointy edges) and overall windscreen airflow behaviour and wind shear that develops at the edge of the windscreen This may or may not become a problem but PLEASE keep your old (but somewhat functional) blades in the car (AND be confident that you can quickly change them at the roadside in a gale/horizontal sleet/etc. Why? I am guessing that the crashyness of the blade might cause it to fail when it is needed most! Of course, if you purchase this from a place that actually meets sales and consumer law obligations (i.e. much more than 30 days) then if there is a problem with your set up you can can pop back into the physical bricks and mortar shop (think of names beginning with H....) NB I have no comment on whether good/bad - the 5 stars is just so this doesn't get taken down.

The quality i epxect from bosch. Delivered swiftly by Amazon, these gave me the clear windscreen i want for all my journeys. I got a new Hyundai Ioniq 5 and had already read that the wipers that come with the car are inferior, streaky and not particualry wellmade. My first upgrade was therefore to get some of these to repalce them. Delivered quickly from amazon, these wre on the car within minutes. Simple to fit - if unsure, just clic kon the QR code for a website and instructions. Once you ascertain which way the wipers are coming on and off, its simple to fit. The result was the clear smear free, nosiless wipers i expected. Yes, Bosch cost a little ore but as the view from the windscreen is of paramount importance, it's a small financial sacrifi ce for streak free wipers. Great value for money and easy to fit, quiet and great screen coverage.

Make sure you check your car model first. The one I was meant to get has a little frame around it. So I have mismatching wipers now. But that was my fault. When it comes to this blade though. It was really easy to install. Works really well. So I definitely recommend it. Just do a little research first.
